just finished changing the oil in my truck; now i'm trying to cool off. it's hot as hell outside and i look like i jumped in a pool with my clothes on.

after i cool off a bit, i'm gonna grill the burgers i bought the other day (a stack of frozen patties from costco). i'll grill them, then seal them in food saver bags and put them back in the freezer. that way, all i have to do is thaw them out then reheat them whenever i want some burgers.

i need to cut the grass, too. but i might wait until later when it (hopefully) cools off a bit. plus there's a couple other things i need to do outside.

Afterward went to Denny’s for some socially distant outdoor dining and then called it a day. Now I’m deciding what to watch tonight. I might go with Doctor Strange which I’ve never seen before but not sure. Right now it kind of feels like I’d be making myself watch it...

I watched a Norwegian tale called The Last King tonight. It was pretty good. I've actually found the wiki page for the king and will read it when I get into bed. I think I might also check out the wiki page for The Last King Of Scotland. I've never seen that movie before.

Gaiter kinda gross - I could taste the saliva through the sweat. Not sure it's better or worse than the Seirus. Going to take both to the gym on Sunday and see what happens during my first ever attempt at 26.2 miles on the treadmill. Kinda tired so time to close my eyes for 30 minutes before dinner.

Sitting here @work taking my lunch break and watching the news. Looks like I'm currently in the county of California that has the highest positive covid rate in the state. Woohoo, I hope my wife doesn't notice that, she's really paranoid when it comes to the whole coronavirus pandemic, she'll be blowing up my phone with nervous texts.

In other news looks like ill find out tomorrow if I'm returning home on the first or fourteenth of August. Part of me hopes I'm done out here on the first but the longer I stay here the more money I can make.

With Will Ferrell in it, I thought that there would be some laughs.

[Show spoiler]This movie is more of a drama about marital problems. Yuck as in very boring and a waste of time, so glad that it was just a rental.

I think I saw a trailer and it looked alright but I could understand you being disappointed if you were looking for more laughs and not an hour and a half of Dr. Phil

Rather than clean my shower curtain, I got a new one so I just hung it up a short time ago. That's about as far as my handyman skills go

Okay, I've thought about mentioning this before. I am typing this post on my laptop and have my iPad on my lap. I look down at my iPad and it's 11:11pm. I'd say I've checked the time and seen that it's 11:11 about 10 times in the last few months. Maybe it hasn't been that often but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again this week. I'm just randomly checking the time and instead of it being 11:17pm or 11:08am, it's 11:11. I only mention that because I guess 11:11 is supposed to give good vibes. So far, it's not working

Trying to think of what video game to play next, so many choices, so little time before summer break ends and class resumes lol.

Will probably end up playing a Pokemon again for the millionth time until the Dens reset again in Shield on the 1st lol.

Almost 2 hours till bed time so racking my brain on which game to get out of the 2DS case.

I'm updating Clueless in my collection. I pre-ordered the Steelbook from Amazon and then got a message that they didn't know when it was coming in so I checked Best Buy and they had it available for pickup at one of my locations so when they sent the confirmation that it was ready for pickup, I cancelled the Amazon order.

Watched Dan In Real Life tonight and really enjoyed it. This is only my second time seeing it and first time since seeing it in the theater back in 2007. Juliet Binoche was pretty great in it. Watched a trailer for Becoming Jane before the feature film and decided that I need to own a copy. English people saying English things is always plus for me.

lol actually I've owned Becoming Jane since at least November of 2012. Maybe I should get around to watching it one of these days
