At daaaa deeeentiiist. After this, if I'm not in excruciating pain, I'll head to Gilroy and pickup a copy of the Bruce Lee: His Greatest Hits Criterion at Barnes & Noble.

getting ready for woorrrrrrrrrrrk and talking to the Mrs on the phone. Apparently her sister has tested positive for the Kung-Flu and hasn't been feeling well so she's more paranoid over me being out here on the west coast where the cases keep spiking, I think I'll wait to tell her I extended my trip out here through August.

Good luck with all of that Mike, hopefully your sister-in-law recovers and your wife takes the news as well as possible.

Sitting here playing catch up and hoping all the gang is doing well. Considering a nap after I take a quick shower and eat something to tied me over.

Watching more One Piece in Japanese, about to go fix spaghetti dinner for myself and the family so I can eat a ridiculous amount of carbs for Sunday's treadmill marathon attempt.

Riverside. Any recommendations while I'm out here? I hit up Huntington Beach yesterday, wasn't very impressed but then again I'm not a big beach fan. I want to hit up at least one trail in Big Bear next week. I'm considering taking a drive out to Hollywood before I leave at the end of August, wish I could catch a Angels game but covid's not gonna let that happen. Food-wise the only places I wanted to try was In-n-Out, Jack in the Box and Canes, I didn't think In-n-Out was very special and haven't been to the other two yet.

Trying to figure out why the mobile version of Google Chrome on my new iPhone won’t let me see full pages on this website, but the mobile version of Safari will. I’m stumped.

I love In'N'Out. Jack in the Box is decent but nothing special, same for Canes.

Hmm, unfortunately I don't have any ideas right offhand. Well I do, but not sure how good they'd be. I haven't been to SoCal in at least 15 years which is crazy. The last time I went was when I was really into the import scene (Japanese car culture) so I would have gone for that reason.

In normal times, I would suggest Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm or maybe Magic Mountain for amusement parks. I haven't been to Disneyland since 1998. Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel Air. Maybe, if you have a rental car, you can take a drive along Highway 1 or Mulholland Drive.

Again, with these times we're in, things aren't the same but it could be kind of cool to go to a club in Hollywood or where ever it is the stars hang out. I was never into the club scene so I couldn't begin to tell you where the hot spots are.

I know we have some SoCal members, including ctujackbauer, who can help you more than I can. Regarding food places, I say that the only reason people eat In 'N Out is because they can't find a Five Guys

I suppose you could try surfing if you were feeling adventurous. Don't get eaten by a shark though. That would be no bueno

Oh yeah, I'm about to order this movie from Best Buy. I was reminded of it when I saw it today while checking out Criterions at Barnes & Noble. Apparently there isn't a Blu Ray release so DVD it is!

Just ate breakfast, waiting to have my morning constitution so I can get my 26.2 mile treadmill attempt underway. Going to start off with a 10 minute walk on the treadmill first to loosen up since shuffling through the gym while shaking myself out would be a bit weird.

Not sure why my father is up at 5 AM, what a weirdo.

Just finished lunch, marathon on the treadmill attempt today was aborted at 8.5 miles due to exhaustion. Clearly tried to go too far too fast running with a mask so my masked running record is still 12 miles. Oh well, onward and upward, with training masked running will become easier to sustain.

Time for a nap to make up for getting up at 4!

Watching my kids wrestle around while I get the energy to stand up. Been a stressful week and I am feeling it physically and mentally. Need to get out to the garage and pick up the weights. Just so drained lately

Going to source some Criterions at Barnes & Noble and then I think I'll try out Godfather's Burgers in Belmont. Been trying out some new places recently. Actually got to enjoy a few meals indoors, safely of course, a few weeks back but we're back to outdoor dining only for now.
