At Denny's with a book and my laptop. I had the sirloin with garlic bread, sweet petite corn and mashed potatoes and almost had a second order but went for the cinnamon crunch pancakes instead.

There is this nice smell in the air and it's taking me back to Ireland when I was recovering from my car accident. I have no idea what the smell is but that's my only memory of it. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. I don't know.

Not being cheeky but now I'm wondering if I smelled this scent in Germany or Austria.

Looking at used cars. My nearly 18 year old PT Cruiser is burning oil, badly, plus the left wheel bearing is getting even louder.

The only problem is that a bunch of muppets at local car dealerships are scouring Autotrader and sometimes craigslist for used car inventory, plus the big name dealerships aren't messing with cars under $10k. Conversely, used cars on craigslist were scooped up by people (like myself) who just want dependable wheels with their Trumpbucks $1,200 stimulus check.

So now I'm basically looking at used cars that would fit well in Jalopnik's Nice Price Or Crack Pipe feature column. edit to add: apparently the nice price or crack pipe section was transitioned to the less-fun moniker: nice price or no dice.

Getting ready for work after a great BBQ&Brews night at my parents' place last night. May have overindulged on the adult beverages a little. My kid brother wants to chill at my place tonight but the way I'm feeling now I'm thinking I may have to turn him down, that's just a little too much excitement for me on a work night, may be I can convince him to come up to the lake this weekend with me Monday instead since he's not working at the moment.

What Im doing since yesterday. Hanging out at my sister's place. Went for a boat ride out on the lake to sort of fish for carp etc.

Then right now this morning, waiting for stores to open up at 10 since im going to the comic book shop for a few comics.

then going to other stores like Bath and Body and Walmart etc
