Well I guess that's not going to happen, the douchebag client canceled at the last minute because he claims he can't afford the extra expense right now.

Oh well, I'll probably run some necessary errands today, grab some lunch and get my truck into the shop for some pre-winter maintenance. ~3hrs to do everything before I have to pick the kids up from school, ya the truck maintenance may have to wait.

I put in a battery blanket a couple of days ago.
What bugs me about that is, the block heater cord is moved to the other side of the engine now. Before, on earlier Ram models, it was on the same side as the battery. So I had to use two extension cords instead of one.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Have you used a battery blanket in the past? I've never used them personally but a couple buddies up in the mountains swear by them, our lowest temp here may only drop down to -20F and other than maybe an extended crank on cold start now and then I've never noticed any premature wear on the battery due to the cold.

OT: Just put the girlfriend's kid to bed and now I'm helping my daughter finish her math homework. Think we're going to watch an episode or two of Supernatural before she goes to bed then I'll probably hop on the ps4 for a bit.

Pretty sure I just finished all the writing I'm going to do for the body of a 7 page research paper that's due tomorrow. Feels nice to have that out of the way. Will type up the references page tomorrow then give it a once-over and submit it. Hopefully I will also have enough time to finish studying for my quiz for that class and get an A on it before my 4-close Thursday shift.

Yes, it's an essential for back home and probably here too.
Home, it'll go to -40 every January or February.
Once when I had come back from work, my truck wouldn't start. I got a Bro to come give me a boost and when I opened the hood and saw my battery almost ready to burst. I said no to the boost and went and bought a new battery.
Btw, I never thought to check the CCA on this new truck and I should do that.

I watched a couple of good movies that had great Presidents in them. Air Force One and An American President. Very entertaining.
