Eh, I'm sure if someone looks hard enough they'll realize their cup runneth over in other ways as well.

I got the Maple Leafs vs Oilers recording so should put that on soon.
What album did you decide on to indoctrinate the turntable with?

I did go with Achtung Baby.
I was very happy when Zoo Station started (I had it loud). I had a big smile at how clear it sounded and the great bass.
I had no idea of how good vinyl sounds.

I love that album so much, it's got such great songs dressed up in that big (sometimes "industrial"-type) production.

Going to bed, work at 7. Just finished my first ever marathon of Dawson's Creek. Not sure it's worth a rewatch, though. Having issues getting started on wordpress, hopefully the professor can help me work them out quickly.

Having coffee, watching the news and surfin' around.
I'm very pleased with how the living room turned out.
I should shower and hit the grocery store before all of the nutso drivers are on the road. Dunno why snow has that effect on them.

Like both films as well. I have The World's End as well but I haven't watched it yet. Hopefully I'll enjoy it more than you did. I did pick up Paul several months ago, after not having much interest in it, and quite liked it.

(Im)patiently waiting on a delivery of longer amplifier interconnects from an order that I placed around the holidays. The raw cabling was heavily delayed from Germany due to COVID. Psyched to finally start getting my basement home theater set up for more than just stereo given the new distances down there.

Just sent my pull list via email to my LCS, who have had a server crash, losing hundreds (maybe even thousands) of orders that had been placed for product arriving between tomorrow and the end of April.

Wednesday:

I'm back after the snow storm. This one was actually pretty bad.

The Royal Rumble was good this year. Onward to WrestleMania.

At the VA in Palo Alto after having gotten my vaccine. Just have to hang out for fifteen minutes to make sure there are no side effects. Going to be hard to tell if I'm having a reaction based on weird behavior as weird is my normal behavior

Haha, nah. Now that we're in the new crib, I finally have a good sized basement to spread out a bit. So, same basement HT system as before but needed longer interconnect runs (went from 2M to 3M) to facilitate placement of my gear. Let old man Rager figure out how to upload a pic and I'll post one. It's pretty much all set up in place, I was just waiting on the new cables to get everything hooked up.

Pretty fricken nice set-up Rage!

OT, I'm gonna try to siesta.
While at the mall, I suddenly didn't feel well.
If the nap don't work, I'll try beer or rum when I get up. I'll also try to keep the tidying and organizing going.

Very nice. Well done, sir. Looks like lots of space for your gear to breath. Is that a new tv? I see the SVS subs holding court in the back. And is that an old school fat PS3 I see? Are you pretty much all settled into the new pad? How you liking it?
