and working on some finances for my side business in New York. Good news I finally heard back from one of the apartment applications I put in. Ironically it's the first one I inquired about and technically would've been my last choice given the size but beggars can't be choosers, this way we can finally get comfortable and give us a year to decide whether we're going to stay in the area after the Lady's contract is up. If we decide to stay here we can always look for some place more permanent at our leisure.

I done cancelled Sling TV.

I think I got my money's worth over the years but with these news channels going full-on crazy, I don't see the value as much as I used to. I'll live without NFL Monday Night Football. I will miss the MLB and NBA playoffs the most.

I might just go back to cable and sign up for the cheapest internet/tv package next year.

I have HBO Max (might keep) and Hulu for free through a Spotify Premium sign up (which they sadly don't offer anymore). Family has Netflix and Disney Plus, so its not like I'll be running out of content anytime soon.

Maybe true ala carte will come one day.

Getting ready to go sign a lease and get the keys to our new apartment then take a short road trip to Tennessee to surprise my aunt for her birthday, I haven't seen her in almost a decade so it's definitely going to be a surprise for both of us I'm sure.

Well we got the keys to the apartment but postponed the road trip to TN until next week. Electric is supposed to be turned on tomorrow, next up is the Internet and cable. We don't have any furniture in place yet but I can already tell how small this place is, most likely because our last place was so spacious. I keep telling myself, it's only for one year but in reality I hate moving so much that we may just stay the full two years and see where the Lady's job takes her next.

Even I've started trying to get my money to grow me more money, I want to retire someday and chances are, I will have to fund my own retirement.

So I got back from the trip Sunday and everything was fine with the computer yesterday. though I spent little time with it but now when I start using it today my google account got messed up and now I have to redo passwords and settings. ug. luckily I got the email accounts squared away and now its other stuff like facebook and etc.
