Watching Rise of Skywalker in 4k while I wait for tonight's dinner to finish baking.
I always love these Sunday shifts because no one else is back there so I can work maskless as long as I'm in the "warehouse" and not in the actual hospital. |

Working til 3 then swinging by the car wash to clean my baby. Been putting it off for far too long, you'd think I wouldn't have to with all the rain we've been getting in SE Kentucky but it's still filthy and I have to haul a new bed set this week so I'd rather not do that in a dirty truck.

Salt Lake City. Some of the city is beautiful. Definitely depends on where you are. Much of it looks industrial, commercial or poor like any other city. A lot of the prettier places are where the upper class Mormons live.
![]() This one and the one below I took on a bike ride about a month ago, the same route, but not as far. Pocked camera instead of my cheap smartphone. You can see the city in the horizon. ![]() I think this is some sort of artificial lake. Not sure what for. Last edited by Warm Gun; 05-09-2021 at 03:29 PM. |

Out running some errands when a little angel appeared on my shoulder *poof*
"Wabo, all you do is give. You need to treat yourself to a little something-something." She said. "Doggone it. You're right." I replied. "I deserve a little something-something." [Show spoiler]

Not "right now" but earlier today I went to the Sherwood Forest Faire.
It's a somewhat nearby (about an hours drive) Renaissance Festival In Paige, TX. Haven't been to this one in at least 5 years. They changed the start dates due to the mess to late spring, it usually runs from late Feb-Easter. Glad I decided not to wear my outfit, cause it was about 90 degrees with at least 80 percent humidity. Though it was mostly cloudy, I did get a bit sunburnt. Which is about the only time my skin changes color (I have tried to tan, but can't). Anyhow it was a fun time & if you have a Faire in your area (even if you have to drive 3 hours to get there like the other 2 "nearby" ones (Scarborough & Texas Renaissance Faires)) go check it out! My outfit has kinda been evolving over the last 30+ years since I went to the Georgia Renaissance Faire way back in the late '80s. Originally I was going for a thief/pirate look, but now I'm kinda more of just a woodsman. Basically I was wearing all black (yeah not a good idea in Texas or Georgia) To now wearing green & black. Can't imagine how darn hot some of the performers must be, especially the guys in the joust in full plate armor, the people dressed as mythical creatures (with masks) and the ladies in their corsets. |
