heading out for an early lunch, I got up late, only had a cup of coffee, ready for some grub, then out for a double feature of the new Boss Baby movie and the new Purge movie.

EDIT: so I learned that I absolutely hate 'crab wontons' - ewww, never again. And the Kung Pao chicken/shrimp wasn't very spicy - for such a popular, well reviewed Chinese restaurant I thought the food and specifically what I ordered was horribly bland.

Watching Friends season 5 on HBO Max. It's going to be just me and the new receiver at work on Monday. So we'll just be pulling requisitions I scan myself and then taking them out to the floors. Supposedly unlike the last holiday, UPS Ground will still be delivering on the 5th, although I find that hard to believe. If they do, we probably won't have time to deliver all the stuff I scan but we'll have to wait and see.

About 6pm (est) a total stranger Snatch & Grab Child Abduction Police Chase ended in the driveway next door....
Must of been an all out alert, 15 Police cars arrived..

I witnessed the Guns Drawn take-down from my front porch, not 20 feet from where it happened. ( it was just one guy )
Poor little girl was balling her eyes out, and there's no way the little girl was more than 6 years old..

This is a good ending to god knows what this guy had in mind for her…
And NO the guy didn’t know the girl at all, it was a total random abduction..

Thank goodness this had a good outcome...

Yes that is absolutely amazing that that had a happy ending, hopefully the child wasn't traumatized for life.

Felt like crap all day and super tired from lack of sleep last night to boot. Came from work at 2:30 and passed out almost immediately. Hopefully that doesn't mean I won't be able to get back to sleep tonight, I don't need another day like the one I had today, tomorrow.

That said, I'm drinking some juice and gonna head back to bed and finish a couple YouTube videos I started. My Love's up in Philly with her family for Independence Day, I hope she's having a good time (she's not answering my texts so I assume she is).

Joined the military back in April, but unfortunately I got injured in boot camp and had to get discharged two months later. Going to rest and recuperate and hopefully try to get back in later.

EDIT - I went to both and I'm glad I went, had a good time and good food (and fireworks).

Home from work, drinking some ice cold brews while watching a couple older movies off Netflix before my girlfriend gets home from Philly. Probably gonna BBQ a rack of ribs for dinner in a bit. Happy Independence Day,y'all!

Watched Hector And The Search For Happiness for the first time tonight and now I'm listening to Elton John's I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues. I've heard it before but I happened to hear it the other day and I've probably listened to it 20+ times since then. Just a beautiful song
