Started my 7 day vacation in Florida, visiting my dad. Going good so far, his birthday is on Thursday 9th, he asked me a month ago to come visit him & relax since he knows I've been stressed out from work and needed a break.

no but seriously, someone did sit right next to me for 'Shang-Chi' and proceeded to stuff his face with popcorn, goes to show that even though I'm vaccinated, we're still vulnerable. I really did think he was vaccinated but still I could and should have maybe moved, but this was my prime preferred seat, I thought I'd risk it.

Saturday, was brutal, I was able to drive back home from a BBQ (with three other people) I was at on Friday night, literally crashed on the couch, tried to watched the Billie Eilish concert, Oklahoma! and Cinderella (starring Brandy) on Disney+ lapsing in between consciousness and sleep, so out of it, I wasn't willing or able to change the channel.

Yesterday, I was at least alert enough to catch up on a lot of TV and the Woodstock '99 doc on HBO-MAX, last night I finally got my full 8 hours of uninterrupted hours of sleep.

Do we have any resident lawn care specialist on this website?? My lawn is green with weeds and just wondering how i should tackle it, with it nearing fall time?

Stressed out about an alarming situation with my daughter that I can't do anything about so I'm gonna load up my truck and head north to do some Labor Day camping and de-stress a little. It's about two hours away and I've never been there before, so should be a nice adventure. Will probably indulge in some steak and beers while I'm there just because.

Getting better each day from what I'm told. She's been hospitalized with covid and of course I'm almost 1000 miles away and my ex doesn't want me there so I'm relying on texts and nightly video chats.

Ot: just finished changing the oil and filters on my truck and some basic detailing inside of it. Trying to stay busy to keep my mind preoccupied.
