Kiddo had another restless night which in turn made for a sleepless night for me. Drinking some coffee that one of the day nurses were so gracious enough to bring me this morning while we watch some Supernatural on Netflix. Her mom should be here any minute, I'm gonna see if she'll let me use her hotel room to get a couple hours of sleep later and a shower, while she sits with the kid this afternoon.

Just spent the last 3hrs or so talking about our summer trips with my daughter. I think her favorite was our trip up to Dearborn, MI to the Henry Ford museum and Rouge Truck Factory . I'd probably agree.

She's drifted asleep so I guess I'll try to get some sleep myself now.

Nope. It was my upgrade from Verizon. I forget the full cost of the phone, but the per month fee isn't too bad. I'm getting away from Apple (not that I hate them, Android just suits me better because I'm a PC guy).

I haven't been on Android in over a year, so it's a little bit of an adjustment for me. Took longer than normal to get everything setup, apps installed and logged into, and settings fixed. But it's ready to go. Nice phone. Almost the same size as the iPhone XR I had.

Getting blown for winter… that didn’t come out quite right… my sprinkler system is getting blown out for winter. That’s better. Although I wish it was the former.

My Love and I are waiting to get into Venom 2.
We watched the first one the other night and she liked it.

I’m also wanting to calm down from this stupid Thanksgiving Dinner drama.

Been watching Supernatural on my phone and letting my daughter hold my hand as she's had another rough afternoon. She just let go and turned over so guess I'll set up my little cot (three chairs put together) and try to get some sleep myself. Hopefully her fever goes down before her scheduled surgery tomorrow, it's our proverbial light at the end of this long grueling tunnel.

and watching a youtube video while I wait for the kiddo to come out of the operating room. I'll probably wait until she is moved into Recovery before I head out to get my second covid vaccination. I've heard many people have covid-related side effects from the second dose a day or two later so I wonder if the hospital will let me back into my daughter's room without another covid test.
