Playing phone tag with the commissioner of jurors in NY. They sent me a summons for Jury Duty, trying to find out what I have to do to not have a warrant out for my arrest, because obviously I'm ~1000 miles away and won't be able to serve there. Guess It's my own fault for not getting a new driver's license soon after moving here.

I think my booster shot yesterday, really zapped my energy level today, struggled through watching both 'Nightmare Alley' and 'Parallel Mothers' - gonna call it an early night *yawn* (I'm done, 'night all).

Lying here in bed about to take a nap. My Luv and I took a break from the Guy Pearce A Christmas Carol. Which I highly recommend. As it’s a interesting twist on the old tale so far, and we’re just getting to Christmas Present when we stopped. I’m trying to enjoy the weekend, but work has me stressed out with all of the driving. Fingers crossed, I can find something locally for the same pay.

Drinking a couple Yuenglings and texting family in NY. Looks like my parents' are planning a trip down here before the end of the year, I'm trying to convince them to bring my daughter down with them. I'm sure my Ex will be dead against that idea however. :-(

I wish you well Mike. My ex wife and her new husband haven’t let me see my son for a year and a half. I haven’t spoken to him since his birthday in July. So I understand this pain all too well. Especially knowing you raised her like I did my son. Fingers crossed, she comes through for you.

Took a late nap and must have had a rough dream just before I woke up. I’m not sure about, but clearly my energy is off. Because My Luv was asking me what’s wrong and I don’t have an answer. We’ve definitely had a good weekend. Not enough to be up to the driving tomorrow. Luckily I only have a couple of accounts and the next day off.

Thanks Don, I appreciate that. My Ex and her newly wedded husband just bought a house out in Olympia WA so I foresee any future visitation with my daughter being less and less as years go on.

OT: Just got back from the county courthouse where I finally got around to getting my Kentucky driver's license. Very slowly establishing full residence here in the bluegrass state. Must say I'm not very photogenic but I'm liking my KY license photo more than the one I had on my NY license. Doesn't help that it was from 2016 when I was at my heaviest with a full beard and all.

Anyway, now I think I'm going to do some cleaning up in prep for some company this week.

Syncing the Peanuts DVD mono tracks to the six duplicate 4K specials. Didn't know how to do this in Reaper until two days ago. I can't set a simple delay because there are missing and added frames, especially during black breaks.

When there's a missing fade out in 2001, that WB fixed pretty quickly, the fans talk about it for years, but when the opening titles in more than one Peanuts special have their music cut suddenly rather than fading out like on the old DVDs, nobody pays attention. That red line is me adding a fade out sooner to the old audio. I had no choice, because the section between the opening and the next chapter has more black frames than in the 4K, and the next chapter starts sooner, so I had to pull everything to the right forward. I wonder if the same WB studio was involved.

There's more to dislike about the 5.1, though. Like in one part of an episode, I noticed a duplicate voice echoing quietly underneath the character speaking.

I still haven’t fully switched back from nightshift so am torn between trying to get a lil bit more sleep or saying eff it and hitting the road.
We’re not gonna make it in one shot, damn, so will end up hotelling it somewhere along the way.

awake again but I've got to clean.probably take a shower a little later. much later is a housing inspection which I hate. I should have called earlier to get some things done but there were several inspections and I was on a list so I thought wait til they get to me. But maintenance is in a mess with people leaving and in the leasing office as well. Still with the contractors they brought in to help I still haven't gotten my items done.

Up early again this morning. Drinking some coffee and watching some YouTube while I await my family's arrival. They ended up getting a late start yesterday so I'm not sure if they were planning on driving straight through, there's 3 of them all licensed so it would've been possible--heck, I've done the whole 850-1000mile trek in one go on my own before. They mentioned getting a hotel room for tonight so it looks like I cleaned up our apartment to make room for our spare beds for nothing, oh well.
Not sure what their plans are today but I'll probably treat them for dinner(per direct orders from my fiancee who won't be able to join us) tonight before driving them around town to look at Christmas lights, then come back here to watch a Christmas movie and chill.
