Just got back from an early dinner/late lunch at Cracker Barrel with my parents and little brother, they decided to get a hotel room tonight so there's no fuss on a sleeping arrangement in my tiny apartment. Whatever it is what it is.

We didn’t hit the road today and it turned out to be a fortunate thing. There’s a heavy snowfall warning (8-12 inches) for a place halfway along our trip. It tapers off tomorrow so we’re gonna leave then.

Finished work today. They allowed half-day off since we will be closed tomorrow.
I got 4 gifts from my manager & co-workers, even though I don’t deserve it.

Finishing my first week of work since I got COVID two weeks ago. Stamina is somewhat diminished and still no taste or smell, but it feels good not to be trapped in the house anymore.

EDIT: In a sick bit of irony I literally got infected the day I was supposed to get vaccinated.

I was sick over Thanksgiving and lost my smell/taste around day 3 which is when I decided to get tested. Took me about two weeks before I got my stamina back up.


Definitely felt great getting out of the house.

I actually started out by looking for a Columbia tee shirt but went with TNF. That brand seems to be real popular here and I found this entry from it's wiki page to be amusing:

Then I remembered I had this movie on iTunes - artifacts be gone.

Watched a bit of YouTube and now I just made a payment via Afterpay and now making the rounds on IG while copying some music from an external drive to my computer

Purchased a game from the Microsoft-Xbox store and had difficulty locating it. Finally found my game being downloaded in the queue. I haven’t bought a digital game for the Xbox in a long time. I’m so clueless.

Unwrapped Christmas presents, my parent's never get me anything videogame related so the adaptive kit was a genuine surprise. I had a stroke last year and have trouble with my right hand still. The He-Man figures are from my brother, it was one of our favorite cartoons when we were kids.
