Coffee and discussing our daily plan with my Love. She finally got her next work assignment, in North Carolina. Her last covid test came back inconclusive so she has to get retested before her first day which happens to be Valentine's Day, despite still not having a sense of taste/smell, she's 99% sure she's negative.

Just relaxing and taking it easy. I was in NY yesterday and hit a deer on the way home. Talk about a way to ruin a perfectly good day.

On the flip side, my Ghostbusters 4K set is out for delivery. Excited that I was able to get one ,but super nervous and anxious after all the packaging/missing disc horror stories. I cannot believe Amazon shipped a bulky collector's item in a freaking bag!

About to go for a run. It's around 40F outside right now, lower with windchill and my hip's been bothering me today but I need to get back on a fitness routine. If I can manage a mile, that'll be better than nothing. Then home to cook dinner (tacos,I think) and call my daughter in NY to check in on her. I try to call every week but during our last call in early January I think she was feeling pressured to talk to me, as we couldn't hold a conversation very long so I stopped calling regularly. Usually we keep in touch via text nightly but even my texts are being ignored.

Got my Ghostbusters 4K set. Shipped in a bag because apparently Amazon thinks by doing that they’re saving the environment. I’m all for better green initiatives but this is not the way to go about it.



Anyway…watching GB1 and trying to figure out dinner for this evening.

My fiancee took my truck up north to hang out with her cousins for a couple days and my daughter refuses to talk to me when i call her, so I'm sitting here alone and lost.

yeah it's pretty ridiculous how much coffee I've been drinking lately. At least a full pot (~72oz) every day. Needless to say I've adapted one heck of caffeine toleration, I rarely get the jitters from my morning coffee.

Just unwinding at the moment. I was at Best Buy today getting the La La Land Steel. It's really nice! Also picked up the new Little Caesars Batman pizza/calzone thing. It actually isn't too bad. I don't think Bruce Wayne would eat it though. \

I'm up early this morning. Enjoying a cup of fresh brewed Blueberry flavored coffee, I don't ordinarily get these flavored roasts but daaaaaaaaamn this stuff's really good. Now I think I'm going to crawl back in bed with my Love for another hour or two. Supposed to be in the mid-50s again today so I'll see if she wants to do something productive outside later.

Had the best Habit Burger I've ever had just awhile ago. I'm a BIG Five Guys fan and haven't been all that impressed with Habit but today's burger was bomb. Don't think it's just because I was hungry either because I wasn't all that hungry.

well I bought another Lexar flash drive usb 2 pack today 34 office max 12.99 thinking that somehow my old Lexar flash drive I bought years ago Walgreen I thought died when power went on and off this past sun I had bluray player on when happen

i at 1st got a Disney bluray put in in sony bluray player that not a 4k stop it resumes not with flash drive then i put my flash drive in does same thing

i erase bd data then i like unplug and replug bluray player yesterday i started blurays and 4k's stop went back to menu went back to movie resume feature was working



i thought everything was great when i watch orient express 4k it resumes i watch a little turn off bluray player woke up that night turn back on resume died again

what the heck i was told by sony and a few other folks silently in pm's maybe have to factory reset player which i dread

so i had to do that hated to i try to write down everything that i put in before i did i factory reset i think got everything good again

i'm dumb founded that stupid power going off and back on somehow mess up resume function past sun that has never happen before

now i will have to return that new flash drives back to office max tomorrow get money back to bank since used card 1 day next week i guess and yes i'm still using old Lexar 16 gb at least it flashes red indicator when i put it in bluray usb port oh so dreaded factory reset bluray player

if i never turn it on when power went off past sun and turn back on when power did come back on i bet everything will still be ok no factory resets no thinking buying another usb flash drive think one i had died meh

now yes having a flash drive in usb port bluray player sometimes involves bd live which i think still includes in old universal blurays
