I’m about to mount a tv and audio system in our spare room for my wife. She’ll have something to listen to or watch while she’s on her excersize bike.
I’ve got the Blue Jays/Yankees game on but would like to crank some tunes.

I’m also sad about Taylor’s passing and will put on some Foo Fighters.
😢

Selling my movies here or on EBay is a fruitless chore.
When it comes to selling , it's normally just my old and unwanted Anime that I sell....

I originally would take it all to the local fye store, and I thought I was getting some pretty good money
for what I was selling, but than........
I discovered the For Sale thread in the Anime section here on the Forum..

And I found that I was getting more selling here than I would of gotten at fye

That's how I ended up just selling my unwanted stuff on the Forum.
It's far easier to run down the street to USPS than a 40 minute round trip, plus time at the Mall
( while carrying bags/boxes of DVD/Blurays ) to sell at fye, the only store in my area that would buy used DVD/Blurays

LMK what you have and maybe I'll take some off your hands. The library is definitely a good move as they'll be happy to get movies. Might as well consider them lost though because library movies get manhandled and do not survive long once they're in circulation. They would probably make me a benefactor or name a freaking wing after me if I gave them my collection..LOL.

Does GameStop or FYE still buy movies? That was always nice as you could dump a good amount of stuff for a gift card.

Watching the game as well but I'm a bit behind and only in the 4th inning.

I am considering FYE but it is a decent drive to El Paso. Maybe I can make a trip of it next weekend.

I had Jersey Mike's the last time I was there to see a movie, think it was Big Kahuna lol

Watching more of the Fosters and being lazy instead of cleaning the house or cutting my hair lol

I did get massages in El Paso for awhile but it's such a long trip just for a massage, I use a local girl now.

I have not had Chinese in forever. What did you end up ordering?

Making a frozen pizza at the moment and finishing up some Baywatch.

Pork with plum sauce - it was quite good but could have used more vegetables - it was overly meaty which is an odd thing to complain about 😂

watching some YouTube and thinking of heading back to bed, I'm up by 0200 on the weekends for work so I've been trying a split sleep schedule. Getting worried about my Love, ever since she was diagnosed with stomach cancer she's been drifting away mentally. Having suffered with a milder form of mental illness nearly my entire life I sadly know the symptoms, she literally has no motivation to leave our apartment or get out of bed, when she does get out of bed she ordinarily just transplants to the couch. She quit working out, she refuses to even call or hang out with her relatives. I'm hoping to give her a little nudge next week, with a little road trip, we both love to travel.

I used to donate to Goodwill quite a bit. Then I realized they don't actually help anyone locally, its just another big corp that sells secondhand items. I'd rather donate to a smaller, community-based thrift store or simply trash it (sad I know). For media (movies/books) I just donate to the local library, I must've unloaded 6 medium moving boxes to the local library in the town we used to live in when we moved out of NY. That tax write-off was nice on my return this year, and I'm sure whatever they didn't keep they added to their large spring cleaning yard sale/book sale. Libraries are so undervalued IMO.

Ish? We saw Nate Barghatze, a comedian I really like but have never seen before, he was hilarious. Thanks...we had a lovely date night, avoided any major traffic and didn't get shot which is always a hazard in this new Atlanta.

I actually prefer Indian and Thai food because most Chinese seems to be several Americanized versions of the same fake Asian dishes lol.

Eating breakfast before I go for a 1 hour recovery run. Hard to believe it was 1 week ago today I was throwing up right before my 14th full marathon.

Going to clean my room, bathroom and the stairs to my room when I get back since my parents are coming home Tuesday. My sister has predictably made a huge mess and made a bunch of changes to my parents' house while they were gone, we'll see how they respond.

Chinese is usually not my first go to cuisine, except Mao Pao Tofu ... I have a great neighborhood Indian restaurant that is better with another person, I really really miss their lunch buffet. Another neighborhood Asian restaurant has a choice of Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Mayalasian, the latter being the best as the Mayalsian embassy folk rave and call it a "home meal away from home"

I do love Indian food! I’ll usually do chicken tikka masala, Lamb vindaloo or Biryani. Been a while since I've had some thai though.
