and some YouTube. My Love just texted me to let me know she's expecting a package to be delivered today that I need to be here to sign for, figures since I had planned to run some errands today and go see Top Gun Maverick at a nice theater up north. I guess I'll be putting that on hold and just go tomorrow instead, not a big deal. I guess it'll give me some more time to finish Arkham Knight on the PS4.

I'm at Mountain Mike's enjoying the lunch buffet. They have several TVs and I'm watching one that's showing, with captions but no volume, one about professional athletes and the pressure they put on themselves and the expectations that fans have of them. Quite interesting.

Also browsing the movies forum which I haven't done lately.

Fixing some dinner and finally watching season 4 of Stranger Things on Netflix. I was waiting for my Love to be here to watch it with her but instead I found out she watched it without me.. that was awfully nice of her, right?

WEDNESDAY:

I just got done with ebay's post-dispute survey after that lady tried to give me a partial refund and accuse me of "using her."

What happened was BestBuy didn't have a pre-order for the Morbius steelbook in my area so I ordered a copy from a scalper at twice the price on release day and was prepared to be fully happy with everything. Then, on release day 3 copies turned up at the BestBuy near my job, so I went and got it but it was too late to cancel the order I had made a few hours prior but was notified that all returns were hassle free and not to worry about anything.

I took pics of the pristine packaging I received and was given a return label and THEN when she got it she said it was damaged on the inside and that I used her as a place holder for BestBuy and that I would only get $20 dollars back.

Ebay got me my full refund in 45 minutes. That was the fastest refund I've ever received in a dispute with a seller.

TLDR: Seller tried to screw me over Morbius steelbook. Ebay handled it. Happy Day.

Trying to figure out a way to shoehorn in racks of conduits into a building designed by halfwit moron design engineers that have no care in the world of how to make their design actually work and fit all the MEP systems into it!

Seriously when you see a brand new beautiful building just finished, don't thank an architect or design engineer. Thank the sub trades who these days do their freaking job for them making their design's actually function and work!

I'd be there all weekend if I lived closer lol I don't so I'll just have to stick to my DVD/Blu-ray copies...I miss going to the drive-in, as a child of the 80s who grew up in the 90s who knew I was part of the last generation to take part in drive-in theaters. My local drive-in theater here closed down mid-season last year. The drive-ins I went to growing up (both of them) in upstate NY are still going pretty strong from what I hear. Glad to hear it, but really disappointed that work and a serious relationship took me 1000 miles away from them.

Watching TV and texting my daughter. It's official she won't be visiting me this summer, and as soon as she returns from camp her mom's dragging her out to the west coast. Talk about a swift kick in the balls.

Dang dude, that's a real bummer.
Is there any way you'd be able to surprise visit her on the west coast later this summer, maybe early fall?
Easier said than done I know, but hey, just to see the gal suprised to pieces with you there for even just one day or two days, worth it, certainly worth more than not seeing her at all this summer.
