Just got back from a date, my first one in an embarrassingly-long time. Been hitting it off with this girl from work over the last month and asked her out this past week after we shared a lunch break together. We had an early dinner today at Applebee's and then went to the theater to see DC League of Super Pets. I had a great time.

I don't know. Despite my age dating is completely uncharted territory for me, so I'm kind of just figuring this all out as I go. Heck, this was only the second real date of my entire life. (My last one was back in sophomore year of high school! ) Our work schedules also limit us in terms of when we could find times to do things. But I'm hopeful.

If it all went well, and she felt the same way, at least keep in contact with her,
let her know how you feel about the whole dating thing so she doesn't get the wrong idea if
you don't plan on a follow-up date anytime soon.

Putting it back together will be much more tedious lol.

Lots of rain which we needed about 2 months ago. The greens have been absolute trash for golf this year. Hoping my basement doesn't flood.

Yeah, for sure! But also kinda fun cause it means I’m in a new place and on a new life adventure.

I’m having coffee then will toss a few things in the truck, hook up the uHaul and hit the road.

I feel like....had I been here when this line was in talks, it would have been better.

ZERO risks were taken in production and they ended up with a line that people could just put together themselves.

I am having coffee and mulling over where to walk my FurBrat. Either here in my sister’s neighborhood or at a nice park near where I used to live.

I’ll get ahold of my daughter soon and we’ll see what she wants to do for supper tonight.
It’s gonna be so great to see her and my granddaughters!

I’m thinking about heading home tomorrow but am not recovered yet from all the physical stuff I did plus the long fricken drive. Maybe one more day here, hopefully.
