I've been watching/listening to Dave Ramsey's episodes on YouTube and he's surprisingly helpful (I'm new to it), in a way, it has changed me and just now I was planning my personal emergency fund.

This guy called Dave for advice or something and Dave was brutally honest with him, safe to say he didn't like it. lol

Just got back from Jersey. Got some cheap gas and hit Costco and Trader Joe's. Also took the pup to the dog park.

Hanging out the rest of the evening until the baseball game comes on. Yankees playing the Sox at Fenway tonight.

Feeling pretty tired after a 15.5 hour workday on Tuesday. Did 10 hours at the post office and then 5.5 hours at the restaurant. Got home at about 9:30pm and then was back at the post office at 6am.

Anyway, now I think I'm going to play a little PS4 while listening to N***** In Paris on repeat and then surf the net some more.

If you don't mind me asking, Are you in a sorting facility or are you a carrier? I applied for both at USPS (two separate times) in the past they never called me back for an interview or anything. Not even a simple rejection e-mail. Freaking pisses me off when companies claim they're hiring but don't even have the decency to respond to applicants.

I don't mind you asking. I'm working at a station as a distributor, mainly working on parcels. Not sure if you've ever seen me mention it but I was actually with the USPS for 10 years from 2006 to 2016 so this is actually my second stint. I started out just typing for the postal service all day and then worked automation (letter sorting via machine) at the main plant in San Jose before transferring to a station here. I'm now at a different station in San Jose but the station manager is actually a guy that I worked for back at my old station.

How did you apply at USPS? I went to a job fair in May and then submitted some applications via their site.

As for moving, you should come out to California. Sure it's expensive as hell but it's almost worth it
