Not sure but talking to my mom today and I think this is the first hurricane they're preparing for. Moved in March of 2020, first to Richmond Hill and now they're in Brunswick. She sounded quite excited as she was getting some necessities and talking about possibly stacking sandbags. Typical Californian

Finishing this cup of coffee and some house cleaning, then shower and shave before running some errands up in the "city" this afternoon after dropping off my ex's crap. On the plus side with her shit gone, I'm a bit closer to having this place down to the bare minimum again. Listening to some tunes and getting drunk as I'm hating myself right now. I found out today my ex-fiancee killed herself this morning. I don't know why I'm feeling guilty, since she was the one who left me and I didn't want to be responsible for holding her back, but I should've been more compassionate and not let her leave especially right now as her step father (who was more of a dad to her than her biological father) recently passed. Things were moving way too fast; the death of her last remaining relative, our pending marriage and a career change that I was pushing her towards. The signs were there, I feel like if anyone could've stopped her it was me, and I failed.

OMG, dude I am so sorry....that is absolutely awful and devastating to hear. Unfortunately, I know all too well about suicide, we lost a great friend of ours a few years back, it was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. If you're not already in therapy, please seek counseling immediately. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Eating some lunch, taking a break from trying to deal with Sara's remains. She's got two relatives she was close to that I know of and neither of them are responding to my calls and texts. Her nieces have been a big help but they're only teenagers so they can't really help with the legalities. I just can't deal with this right now.

Quit my job earlier this month after living on the road for the past five months (ironically on the same day Her Majesty died ). I was definitely happy to get the time off but thankfully after a three week daze of reading (got a new Al Feldstein HC of his works at EC, courtesy of a damage sale at instocktrades), video games (replayed the Darkness II, Fallout 4, and Forza Horizon(s) 3&4 in their entirety), and movies (binged the LOTR Extendeds ) I will be going back to warehousing at a local dairy company. Can't wait to be making some moolah again!
