I just got a text notification from the property management office, they finally set up an online tenant portal, which would be great if it didn't charge a damn convenience fee to pay your rent. It's *only* a dollar, but that's not the point, I'm going to continue writing a check and dropping it off in-person.

And the trip is the gift that keeps on giving. My lady and I have had a tense few days, because I am still paying for that stupid, poorly thought out, and ridiculously expensive trip. She had no idea that I was still pissed off about the costs, but she was unaware that it is still being paid for. The trip has thrown off my entire financial plan for my side business for the last quarter++ ….and my side business matches as much as 40% of my retirement income, and we need to keep the incoming flow going.

I will never again agree to go on any trip without my express approval/confirmation of the details. Because the details were dropped by the other adults in the room on this one. And $10,000 is a lot of freaking money to waste.

Working two full time jobs may not be the best idea I ever had. I've basically been on-call for my 2nd job(WFH) since 2020, my main job is a Friday-Sunday gig so I had to take an unpaid day off for a Zoom conference this morning for job #2. That conference lasted a whole 12 minutes, and I'm pretty sure could've been discussed via e-mail. Oh well, on the plus side the sun's shining and the rest of my day is pretty much free.

I’ve posted twice that I may head up to San Francisco and each time I didn’t but maybe today is the day. I worked four short hours today at the post office and was done before 8am. Came up to my spot to get some clam chowder and a blueberry waffle because we all know what a great combo that is

There is a Taco Bell cantina on Highway 1 in Pacifica. I don’t think there is a Taco Bell in the US with a better view as it overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Pacifica is just a short drive south of SF so maybe today I will dip my toe in the pool and do a little drive thru the city. I love going for drives and I’m perfectly content to see things from the driver’a seat so I may not even get out of the car…unless it’s to pee

I wish I had more free time when I was out there for work in 2020 to cruise up Highway 1. My one day off in the month I was out there I decided to spend it in LA, the hike at Griffith Observatory up to the Hollywood Sign was hot but really nice. And walking along Hollywood stars. Oh, and Randy's Donuts I'd go back just for them. Good stuff. I did make it to Huntington Beach, so I guess I did see the Pacific Ocean, can't complain too much.

OT: I just ordered a pizza from Papa John's so I'm getting ready to go pick it up. I've been up since 2am, I'm tired, but I'm also hungry, I feel like I'm going to have no problem smashing an XL meat lover's pie right about now.
