Just ordered some new batteries for my kitchen timer because the ones I got at Target today were the wrong ones

Having some macaroni & cheese for dinner and I think tonight's movie will be Prisoners. Watched that one 10 years ago while I was recovering from my car accident in Ireland. I went to the movies several times while I was there. I can't remember if I've seen the film since then.

After it's over, I'm hoping that I'll get a little cleaning up done in the apartment and surf the net a bit before it's time to call it a night.

About to go pick up my lunch and dinner from Bird Dawgs, gotten used to *usually* picking up my Door Dash orders to save on the delivery fees and tips. Plus I usually get the food faster and I often get discounts just for using Door Dash.

Had my clam chowder; two bowls in fact. It was extra delicious today. Now I'm looking at San Francisco on Google maps and seeing if I can plot a course. Not sure I'd actually make any stops but I do have my lawn chair and a book so I could see myself finding a nice park and doing a little reading. I'd like to check out Nike Town as it's been several years since I've been there. I actually probably won't go there though as I don't want to pay for parking lol They do have an REI and while I don't really need anything and have been in one recently, it is a fun store to check out.

Or who knows, maybe I get in the car and head back to San Jose and just crash for the rest of the day

You can still find a Park in San Fran that you feel save just hanging out and reading a book in????

Re-watching Dracula. It had a slight skip roughly halfway through. Did not appear to be a receiver signal issue. I replayed the chapter and it was fine. Disc looks good and I cleaned it. Hoping it’s not some sort of encoding error.

Wendy’s is doing .1 cent Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers today but you have to use the app and of course purchase something else.

I make my own burgers and dogs at home usually with my Foreman grill. Not delicious but a lot cheaper than takeout. I just double checked, Dairy Queen is way too far, time to look at Door Dash prices. It's not letting me order Door Dash from the local DQ so I'm out, not paying full price just to get that ice cream lol

Donut Land in my area serves pumpkin donuts from September - November. The glazed ones are fabulous!

Feel safe for myself? Absolutely. Feel safe for my car or my possessions inside my car, based on what I've heard (but not experienced), not so much. It sounds like you've heard all of the stories. Panhandling is something you'll see just about everywhere in California. I actually don't recall seeing any in SF yesterday but I didn't go to the areas where you're more likely to find them.
