I live in the country so no zoning laws, but still have neighbors and it’s a shit show.

Neighbor 1 is straight up Wrong Turn hillbilly trash. The dude does demolition derby events and works on his cars day and night. Straight pipes revving to redline constantly. Sometimes he drives them up and down the road at crazy speeds which is not only dangerous but also illegal. These cars are not meant for main roads or insured.

Neighbor 2 is worse than neighbor 1 because you can only rev a car so much and then factor in $4 gas. These people are highly disrespectful and absolute scum bags. The dude breeds hound dogs and they bark all the time. He has at least a dozen of them but it varies. My father chewed them out years ago and the wife replied what would you do if a baby cried? Yeah…not the same. Needless to say it’s never been a healthy relationship. Just this Memorial Day weekend he was cutting down trees with his chainsaw at 6:30 in the morning. The property line is roughly 75 yards from my driveway. If they’re in the yard I can usually hear their conversations if I have the window open.

During the pandemic they added a chicken coop to their yard. Instead of putting it on the other side of their house near their garage they put it right at the end of the property line. Chickens don’t really bother me…until this year when I heard a rooster at 4:30 in the morning. YUP…now they’ve got f’n roosters. They are louder than the dogs..it’s absolute insanity.

Oh but $4 gas. I wish it was that cheap. I just paid $5.39 for the cheap stuff (87) at the cheap station (Arco AM/PM). Back in July, I paid over $6 a gallon up in the mountains. I didn't want to run out of gas on the pass (through Sierra Nevada mountains) so I played it safe and got a few gallons. So yeah, I'll take that $4 a gallon

Trying to decide what movie to watch tonight. Not Desolation Of Smaug. Not The Vanishing (Gerard Butler). I might go with The Whale which is apparently about an overweight person who I will be making sure not to judge while watching the film. As much crap as I eat, I should be overweight as well

You are overweight, never heard of "skinny" fat people? Just because you can't see the fat doesn't mean it's not there and you're not out of shape.

Just beat Persona 5, about to finish off the end game crap and take the Switch with me to a 3 hour shift.

Premium gas is just one of several reasons I'm glad my car is so fuel efficient and that I no longer work at jobs that require 15-25 minute drives each way every day.

I couldn’t get past the pilot haha. I’m sure it gets better though!

Did spaghetti and meatballs Sopranos style this evening. Lots of rain but enjoying the evening until crappy Monday hits.

Yeah I don't understand why it's so popular, just doesn't grab me.

About to play some more Persona 5 before I head to the gym to run 12 miles on the dreadmill.

Just showered. Picked about 6 buckets full or rambutans from a single tree. Exhausting work using the step ladder.

Just dropped the car off at the mechanic for its yearly inspection which is mandatory by the State. Not sure if it will pass so a bit nervous as it probably needs some suspension work which won't be cheap. Also have a few others things I need him to look at.

I headed home on Sunday when I had this nice G Wagon in front of me. Turns out he was riding in a two vehicle convoy (van in front) of this...thing. I didn't know what it was but after Googling ASKA, it turns out it was a flying car. I never actually saw it fly but it was certainly something you don't see out on the road everyday.
