I did not ask for photos. Once you’ve seen one scratch, you’ve seen ‘em all lol. At least you know what is causing the playback issues.

I love Star Wars just as much as you do and especially want my discs pristine, so when I discovered my FUBAR’d sets, I kept requesting replacements until I had a good set. I also moved the 4k over to the left so it was no longer stacked. While stacking is a shitty move..it’s been going on for years. They’re being packaged already scratched but the stacking ain’t doing us collectors any favors.

Yeah I just thought once I switched to 4K, days of scratched discs would be behind me. The only consolation right now is they all play eventually once they get stuck and as far as I know I usually don't miss much.

Also I've seen IV-VI countless times so it's not like I'm missing much there.

I think it's mainly the OT and 1 or more of the PT. Can't remember if any of the Disney discs skip.

i had some smearing on attack of the clones 4k it started to skip when padme and anakin was eating at naboo almost thought had to rebuy it lucky when i clean 2nd time saying eroor with disc however was able to get it off with my magic green cloth and it play keep on cleaning meh



i still think if i whip that kong skull island 4k disc few months ago despite skipping it prob would still play but then again i ruin disc put little soap and water on it then try to clean it bad idea and we all know that i had to rebuy it walmart online after bullmoose out of stock pre owned

Yeah the smearing is likely off gassing residue from the case manufacturing process. It can cause playback issues. It thankfully cleans off with a micro cloth.

My micro clothes are all dried out thanks to my mother using most of mine and ruining the package so she stuck them in a baggie. Gotta get more but they won't do anything about scratches so I'm not in a big hurry.

Watching TFA before bed...I really did like this film when it first came out long ago but now it just feels like fan fiction.

I use these. You can find them at the Walmart vision center. Very fine and silky smooth..meant for eyeglasses. And inexpensive.

Oh those things, I didn't realize they were safe for discs. I had a pack of wipes for electronics that I was using on my screens, phones and discs that was doing a good job.

Had a late breakfast today. I DID NOT go to McDonald’s and made some eggs and sausage.

Car is getting new tires for inspection. Going to try a new garage to get the car aligned. Dealer is like $100 now which is crazy.

After so many up and down work weeks, it was nice to get in 9.76 hours today, hopefully I'll pick up a CK morning shift tomorrow and get in all 9+ hours on Wednesday. Had 0 CK shifts last week, gotta pick up at least 2 this week to make up for it. Finances aren't going to recover if I don't start working more.

Watching the Wolves crush the Nuggets before I shower and go to bed. Morning off tomorrow so I'm going to have my left hearing aid looked at and go for a 5 mile run after breakfast.
