I don't have cable, streaming services, or YouTube TV. It's just the movies, TV shows, CDs, Vinyl, and adult films that I own. I gave up TV watching 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. I'm listening to The Sugarcubes on vinyl, getting my nips frigid and pert (have the a/c on 68), eating raisins, and surfing the web. I just finished Rain Man on 4K UHD-BD and may pop another movie in (Hollywood studio release or adult film) if I have time before the birthday party at 4:00. if there isn't time for either, I may watch some X-Files, play The Sugarcubes again, or start an adult film. Still gotta shower at some point.

Mountain bound lads Got off work at 6:30am. Came home and had some breakfast, packed up and just about to hit the road for a nice three days off

A 5 egg omelette... in Miami of all places? That's not very Speedo friendly. But sounds delicious. I love breakfast food.

Yeah, the lawn got mowed and some weeds got pulled. I tell ya, sf, the weeds are bad this year.

Disney isn't the biggest supporter of physical media so they probably got tired of having discs sitting in warehouses waiting to be sold at bulk discounts.

The club sent me dented Steelbooks so I got some replacements. I also tried getting better copies of the latest Avatar releases in the crappy digipack packaging but the discs all get scratched removing them.

Difficult to say. The club was around for 20 years. I think streaming killed it plus the fact that Sony was selected to handle future Disney releases. I HOPE this means better audio mixes and perhaps a Star Wars re-issue with proper encodes, BD-100s and Dolby Vision!

A lot of stuff sold out at the club before they closed down. I’m gonna miss getting all those D+ 4K Steelbooks for $17

Listening to Tori Amos' deluxe edition of Boys For Pele, drinking a Diet Sun Drop (my family knows the people who own Sun Drop), and eating a Simply White Cheddar Cheetos Puffs snack pack. All the while wondering what the he-- all this is for and why I am still here. Even though I have lost a WHOLE lot of weight, all my myriad issues are making me weigh heavier today.

About to go get more ink for my printer so I can print out those NEO documents for my new 20 hour a week job. Also going by the official DMV to get another copy of my vehicle registration since I misplaced my OG copy somehow. Need to also ask for a copy of my driver history, I'm assuming to prove I'm safe to transport individuals I'll be working with.

I am about to leave for another 104 mile (each way) road trip to the hospital to have my fourth cardiac MRI in 16 months and my 37th medical appointment this year so far -almost all of which involve this amount of traveling.

I do get to spend the 4th of July at home barring any surprises, but then on Friday I go right back for my 38th appointment.

Not exactly what I had in mind when I envisioned retirement travel.

Thanks Vilya. Given the scenery I have to shoot, it'd be hard not to take good pics And the camera on the iPhone 14 is pretty impressive. I really wish I had had a camera this good when I went to Europe!

Sorry to hear about your medical conditions but it sounds like you're in good spirits. I hope you get to spend your 4th at home. That's quite a lot of traveling you're doing for these appointments. Hopefully you have someone taking you to these appointments.

Feeling sluggish this morning but I've got a lot of stuff to take care of today. I'm taking my first real vacation in about 8 years starting on Monday, I still haven't packed and have to clean out my truck in prep for my ~12hr 900 mile road trip.

I've also been busy downsizing and packing up this apartment to prepare to move back to upstate NY at the end of the summer. I'm starting to wonder if I went overboard on furnishing this place, I have serious doubts I'm going to fit everything into the 6x12 trailer my fiancee and I used when we first moved here. Granted we did make multiple trips and had 2 trucks at the time. I'm wondering if I should re-consider renting a storage locker and load up my truck on next week's trip.
