Sorry to hear about your medical conditions but it sounds like you're in good spirits. I hope you get to spend your 4th at home. That's quite a lot of traveling you're doing for these appointments. Hopefully you have someone taking you to these appointments.

I'm glad that I don't have any photos from my trip to Europe back in 2010. At least not that I can find. I went to Paris and Rome. And I hope to never go back to Paris unless I am there JUST to visit Disneyland. It was the cleanest place in Paris. Could not stand how all those beautiful pieces of old architecture were covered in such garish graffiti. In Paris Graffiti is King.

I was just talking to a woman yesterday about the graffiti in Berlin which had surprised me. I'd see a lot from the train as I was riding into the city centre. It was surprising to me but I can't recall if I was that bothered by it. I don't think I ever saw any churches covered or anything like that.

Still have one more full day up here. I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow. I think I'll just take it easy. If I wasn't broke, I might take a small motored-boat out on the lake but that will have to wait.

It's 8:25pm and there's still some daylight so I'll probably snap a couple pics of the lake and eat some snacks and get ready to call it a night.
These look like a piece of heaven to me, thanks for sharing......I obviously live in the wrong part of this great country of ours.

Are you bashing the great state of Pennsylvania?

We’re flooded with the people from NY & NJ right now who come to the Poconos to escape the city thinking it’s paradise.

The club sent me dented Steelbooks so I got some replacements. I also tried getting better copies of the latest Avatar releases in the crappy digipack packaging but the discs all get scratched removing them.
Holy cow. I need a nap just looking at those pics. Looks good tho.

Not exactly what I had in mind when I envisioned retirement travel.

I hope that you all have a happy and safe holiday.
4th of July at home is always nice. And with any luck there will be a shiny new B9 waiting for you when you get back.

Thanks, I think you’d like it a lot up here!

As for sf’s hand, well when he grips and tugs, he does it fast and furiously

That's just disgusting. I don't appreciate beautiful buildings and such being trashed up by graffiti. It's vandalism where I come from.

Just ate lunch at Red Robin for the first time in about 10 years. Had to have my yearly 4th of July burger, had the whisky river bacon burger while watching the 4th of July/Nathans Hotdog eating contest out in Coney island, NY on ESPN 2. It was fun to watch, but not the same without Joey Chestnut.

I'm trying to get myself ready to leave for the hospital (104 miles away) for my 4 hour long infusion treatment, but my BP this morning is 99/49 making me a little dizzy.

Thankfully, a friend always drives me to my appointments.

Hey, what happened to TonyTugsAlot aka sfmarine?

I really enjoyed my time in the mountains but I missed my hotdog/soda combo and strawberry sundae from Costco. 8:07am and off work so will head up there pretty soon. Not sure if I'll do anything else today. I'm going to PT it and I think it's getting pretty hot out there so not sure how long I want to be in the heat.

Listening to some Frank Zappa while I surf the net and drink lots of fluids. I have to go give blood for some lab work and they always have trouble finding a vein. Even when they do find a vein it doesn't usually give any blood so I end up getting stuck about ten times on my arms and back of both hands.

Watching more Reign season 1 before I have a midday snack(ate 2 breakfasts today for some reason), think I'll make a trip to Sam's later.

Thank you for the concern. I’ve been all whacked out on Benadryl, so sleeping a lot and watching the Yankees implode.

Nasty bald faced hornet sting. Itching like crazy. Been popping Benadryl since Wednesday afternoon and sleeping like a rhino. The swelling went all the way up to my elbow. I went to urgent care but it was a 2 hour wait so I left. Not showing major symptoms, so just letting it run its course.
