Well we don’t have a Highway 69 here so that makes me safe Unfortunately, the guy who had a bit of trouble yesterday was asked to leave today. He passed the written test and didn’t drop the bike today but apparently he wasn’t performing to their standards. For everyone’s safety, they dismissed him. Hopefully he isn’t discouraged and gives it another try when he’s ready.

And day is over, test is passed! I'm pretty sure that everyone that took the riding test passed but I'm not positive. I'll get my DL389 which is a certificate of completion of the safety course in the mail. I then have 12 months to present it to DMV where their riding test should be waived. I believe I'll just have to take the written test for the regular Class C license as well as the motorcycle written test for the M1 license. After that, I just need to get a bike and then I can start actin' a fool

Thanks buddy. It was fun and I definitely want to get a bike and be able to go out on my own and practice what we learned in the class. I've got some studying to do so I won't head to the DMV immediately. Once I do get my license, I still want to save for more of a down payment so it will be awhile before I get a bike. But, I am a big step closer than I was two days ago

Right now, it's 6:45pm and I'm planning on taking public transportation to work today. I think I'll head in about an hour early so I can stop at Panda Express. It the meantime, I may take an hour nap or I might play some PS4. I have a feeling that a little gaming will lead to a nap but we shall see...

Congrats on passing the test. Does California require a helmet? PA does not. Personally, I choose to live my life my way without worrying about things I cannot control...so it was no helmet for me (I hate being told what I can or cannot do). I even got t-boned on my bike (drivers fault). Flew over the handle bars and landed 20 feet away facing the bike. Got a ton of road rash and some bruises, but I still refused to wear one afterward. IMO, you are on this planet for only so long and you are not promised tomorrow no matter what you do, so I choose to live my life my way based on my decisions.....if I do die, I went out on my terms.

In my lifetime, I have:

1. Had a gun pointed at my head and got robbed, but he let me walk away (the guy later killed a gas station attendant that night)

2. Got t-boned on my bike without a helmet and only had some road rash

3. Came face to face with a black bear while hiking.....the bear stared at me for a while before proceeding down the mountain

Those are a few of things I have experienced where my life was in jeopardy.....just wasn't my time......and when it is, there will be nothing I can do about it. Like I said, no one is promised tomorrow....so, you might as well live your best life by making your own decisions and doing what you love instead of worrying about the outside noise and things you cannot control.

Thanks Fors. California does require the use of a helmet and I'm quite alright with that. I'm not as willing to stare down death as you are I want to at least get my license but I'm not sure if I'll ever actually get a bike. The idea of driving on California freeways doesn't make me feel soft and warm inside and it would be a pretty good chunk of change to spend on something I may not use all that often. But as for now, I am proceeding

You streaming it on the peacock app? I’ll be watching at 8 when NBC will be broadcasting it.

Currently watching the Yankees/Rangers game. Two doubleheaders in one week!

Chef Curry with the subtle taunting after every 3 as he ran back down the floor. He knew this would be his only Olympics so he wanted to put on a show.

Going to read more of Quicksilver before bed, gotta barrel through as much of it as I can before the new job starts.

Forgot to reply to this. Very cool that you go with your sister. Thanksgiving will be nice with the cooler temps. I like to go in the Fall as well and usually attend the Halloween Party in October.

Where will you be staying? I need to try Splitsville at some point.

Something for everyone at Disney World, Wabo. I drove a Ferrari there before they got rid of that experience and demolished the track. I particularly love the festivals at EPCOT ‘cause of all the food booths. I was so upset when they did not have this delicious dish last year at the Flower & Garden Festival.

It’s Corned Beef Brisket Hash with house-made potato barrels, onions, peppers, cheese curds, and a soft-poached egg with Tabasco hollandaise sauce.

Watched a recent VLOG and if you’re not staying on Disney property, they now charge $30 to park!

Icing my left big toe, 23.5 miles this weekend seems to have worn out that toe. Might be the old Nike's, might just be the mileage. Thinking about what to get for dinner, don't really like the options we have here.
