I might go see Trap at the theater tomorrow but not sure yet. I'm definitely interested but not sure that I'll spend my hard-earned money on seeing this particular film at the show.
No sway in San Jose.

Imagine I'll be watching Cowboys games on days I don't work at a local bar with the former brother-in-law and my father. Not going to pay for Sunday Ticket, especially since we don't even have DirecTV at this house. Reading a bit more King of Vagabonds before bed, still getting used to using the fold 6 as a mobile hot spot.

Just a FYI, but YouTube has the rights to Sunday Ticket now.....it is no longer exclusive to DirecTv.

I'm still not paying for that, local bar I can get a meal and beer. Plus I'll be working every other weekend so I imagine I'll be able to see about half the Cowboys games anyway. That's fine this season, doubt they'll be 12-5.

Magical Express-Free round trip transportation from the airport to your resort

Fast pass ain’t free no more!

Hotel package pickup- this was a great perk as you didn’t have to carry merchandise bags around all day.

That's not entirely true on all of that. The fast pass is still free or will be, as they are bringing it back I think. What they had/have in the interim was free and didn't cost unless it was a high-end type of ride (Rise of the Resistance, Cosmic Rewind). The extra magic hours are still there. Me and my oldest sister have used them lots of times. Recently, too. The other you stuff mentioned is gone, though. Me and my sister are sort of experts on this since we go to both parks so regularly.

Just kidding! In all seriousness, I was in the Air Wing so it was pretty laid back. Just Yuma, Az and Iwakuni, Japan for me.

Putting on some non-running shoes and reading a bit more Quicksilver book 2 before I head into tonight's 2-10 shift! Going to the local Anytime Fitness for the first time ever on the way home.

.
It’s been complicated to say the least irritating guests. You used to get 3 ride selections per day-consisting of one major headliner attraction and two lower tier rides.
Let’s not discuss the older ticketed fast pass system that everyone loved.

Disney killed Fastpass during Covid and everyone had to wait in line. Then they introduced a new paid system called Genie+ which gave park guests the ability to choose rides and bypass lines. This was basically FP reimagined but now with a price tag. It only included certain rides. If you wanted to ride the more popular rides and skip the line, you’d have to pay usually about $15 on top of the already $20-25 or so fee to have Genie+ access. They called this Lightning lane.

Now it’s all changing again apparently. As for Extra Magic Hours, I believe it was a perk for Deluxe resort guests but even looking at hours, I see nothing in the evenings. They do have early theme park entry which is a joke as it’s only 30 mins before it opens to the public. As I said, I used to be out in the parks past midnight. The parks would close at 9 on select nights and remain open for 3 hours for resort guests. It was a great perk which is no longer there. *it looks like they offer 2 hours for deluxe guests now but it’s only offered 1 day this week at Magic Kingdom. Such a huge difference.

Glad to hear you’re staying at The Grand Floridian. I’ve stayed there several times over the years including Christmas which is the best time because of the ginger bread house. Ah yes…another thing they removed. The evening band that used to play in the lobby.

Sunday Ticket is available on YouTube for consumers. DTV is only at bars/restaurants.

Get the red zone channel, it is just a better option imo than network games and it cost all of 10 bucks a month.

You must have been out for either drugs or women

Just got done watching John Wick 4 at about 10pm. I should have finished around 8pm but my nap was a bit longer than intended. Now going to surf just a bit and then play some WWE2K19 before calling it a night.

Taking a break for a few errands I need to run today. I'm working on my downstairs studio, and later, on the collectibles vault; I am always working on them. It never ceases to need improvement/upkeep, but I enjoy it. Here's the current harem of guitars, and most will be long-term keepers for me. After decades of owning dozens and dozens of guitars, I'm settling down into a manageable number.

Or out for women with drugs. Or women on drugs.

I don't have DirecTV or any of the other cable companies. I have no access to TV watching other than what I have on disc. I love it!!! Can't stand TV anymore. I have Wi-Fi, but if I had to let it go I'd be alright. As long as I can watch my discs, I don't care.

I'm not sure about all of that. My sister would normally get her lightning lanes and many throughout the day. She may have paid, but it's worth it since we go so often.

They still have the late night hours. We stayed til midnight one time, which was fun. I believe the last time we were there for Halloween, it also stayed open til Midnight. It seems like every time we go to either park, we always have a day or two that we can stay late. We don't often stay all the way til it closes (midnight or whatever). But that's because we are often up the next day super early to rope drop and we need our rest. We've got this whole thing down to a science. And I do mean science, as it is very precise and flow charty.

We like it a lot. The last time stayed there the band was still playing in the lobby. This year instead of Splitsville, we are doing the monorail pub crawl. Looking forward to it. We saw the gingerbread house at the Grand Californian when we were at Disneyland during their Christmas celebration. The Grand Californian is my favorite of all the hotels. It's at Disneyland. When you exit one out of one of the parts of the hotel, you are immediately inside California Adventure. The hotel is literally inside the park. Love it. We Know DISNEY more than Bob Iger.

Having given my only copy of the California motorcycle handbook away, I went to the DMV to get another one. I went to crack it open today only to find that I grabbed the one in Spanish. Mikey no comprende Espanol! So after I'm done at Applebee's, I'll plan to stop by DMV and grab the right one. I am taking the bus today so it's possible that I may be too lazy to get off and walk down to DMV to get one but that's the plan right now.

My family refuses to pay for DirecTV or ComCast while we own 2 houses. I don't know why, I'm sure there's a cheap $30 a month package out there that includes CNN.

Watching some Shameless on Netflix and eating some Trader Joe's peanut butter cups. Thinking about going for a run in a little bit.
