My thoughts are that the long beard should go. The long beard sort of makes you look like Gimli from The Lord of The Rings. Which isn't necessarily bad, but it is not a good look with the ladies. The fellas might not mind, though. However, from your conversation, it doesn't sound like you're too keen on fellas. Which is totally fine. The short beard is enough of a compromise, as the ladies can have less hair there, and you get to have some. Facial hair is not a problem until you still start looking like a hermit or a hobo. I personally don't like the long beard myself, but I wouldn't say no.

Men can sometimes be easier to please than women in this respect. You're a handsome devil and any girl would be lucky to have you. Think of dating or finding a woman as fishing. You have to have an attractive lure to get them interested. Once they're hooked, you can be more of yourself. I assume you want to catch a mackerel and not a guppy. LOL. Though, I'm not sure about the dating apps. Never tried those for landing a woman.

If they are anything at all like trying to find a man, then I would recommend the fine art of celibacy. it's hell on those dating sites. Men can be easier to please in some ways, but that's usually just when their reel and rod are ready to go fishing. But they will only throw you back in when they're done. And even then, it's a dicey proposition. Of course, I can't say all of this for sure. I'm Quasimodo's even uglier brother. So, there's no way I'm getting out of the bell tower.

I have read that based on genetic records, true redheads with blue eyes (like myself) represent less than 0.05% of the US population....so I am basically a unicorn.

By sleeve, you mean a tattoo? You do have a civilized look; probably because you do look young. You need to get yourself an Indian. They have a store in Savannah and I’m hoping we might be able to get by. I wouldn’t mind taking a Chief for a test ride. I think they’re just over 1,800ccs to the Scout’s 1250cc. I think the Scout Bobber I took out might have been one of the ones in the second pic. When I get on the comp later today, I’ll post a few more pics.

Think I’m currently over Nebraska or somewhere in the Midwest. I stopped A Quiet Place: Day One after about 15 minutes or so. I’ve now got Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations Boston episode. Or should I say Baahston

Yeah, I cut it last year and it might look better, but I didn't feel like myself.

I do get compliments from time to time about the beard. I even have had it braided before.

I originally grew the beard when I started playing in a hockey beer league....then just kept it as my son started to play travel ice hockey at age 5 and I was one of his coaches. That was 10 years ago now.

This was the two of us 6 years ago.

It’s crazy how quickly time flies. Met my second cousin for the first time last month. He’s 13 now which is nuts.

Sure does....looking forward to it. I am a Flyers fan, so I have learn to "adopt" a back up team while they try to figure things out.....been an Avalanche fan since Peter Forsberg played for them. That is why my username is "Fors*".

Speaking of which.....off to take my son to hockey practice right now. He only plays high school hockey these days.

Wow! That is so weird. I'm considered a unicorn myself seeing as I am a native to my hometown and we don't exist much anymore. It's all transplants, mostly. And mostly GD Calfornian hippies.

Well, that's not too bad. I was supposed to only be at work for an hour. I ended up here for 5 and 1/2 hours. I'm still here as a matter of fact. Waiting on my ride. My weekend was supposed to start much sooner. STILL too weak to be doing all this.
