Some of those buffets suck. I think they refer to it as a continental buffet or some crap. Basically coffee, milk, cereal, bread and maybe a danish or yogurt.

The better ones will give you eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, Along with a waffle maker which is what I like. I guess the key word is “hot” bfast ‘cause the continental stuff is mostly grab and go and cold items.

That’s the one we had!

Just got to Biltmore. Our tour begins at 1pm so we have about 15 minutes to kill. Going to take some shots of the exterior. Preeety impressive!

I used to book hotels that had the free breakfast. But time after time, it was the crap like you described.. no thanks. Not worth it.

And then you get these ones that has turkey sausage. No thank you! Fake ass crap.

Good point...but the hotels would never consider trying to get away with a cold continental breakfast if you are there for a hockey tournament......there is a reason they allow fighting in hockey.

Alright…you boys talked me into it.

Different, yet funky. Hard to recommend with the aftertaste. I mean it’s something everyone should try I guess just to see-especially if you enjoy Oreos. Acquired taste. I would not get it again.

Nope. I'm currently listening to Disc 1 of Wilco's Kicking Television. BOY, the guys kick it up another notch live. Debating whether to go to McKay's. The weather's waned, but I don't know if I have enough to take to sell for it to be worth it. We'll see.

So true. You can’t be giving kids and their families stale pop tarts & expired yogurt. Now I have seen hard boiled eggs so at least there’s that. Need some good protein before the tourney.

Holiday Inn Express hotels have the best complimentary breakfasts. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, fresh fruit, a make you own waffle station. Although that can get a bit messy.

They def do. Used to stay at one for a week in Orlando. It was great to load up before heading to the parks for the day.

Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott have pretty decent selections as well. Of course the fancier places such as The Ritz Carlton & JW Marriott both charge $40 for the bfast buffet but it’s mighty good.

How in the hell did you do that? We couldn't possibly stay anywhere THAT far off from the parks. Too much to ask. Especially when you can get to and from the park in less than 15 minutes (or even less than that) when you stay at a monorail hotel.

Oh goodness that was back in the early 00s. I rarely stay off site unless I’m at either the Ritz or JW…both of which have free shuttles to Universal, Disney & Seaworld. On a coach bus!

I was about to say. No sane person would stay OFF sight. Those hotels may have free shuttles, but the wait time's got to be awful. And me and my oldest sister have been spoiled.

Here’s another fast food POV showing pizzas getting sliced and boxed.

Relaxing and fun video to watch.

I actually enjoy staying at Skyliner resorts. Getting dropped off at the back of Epcot is pretty sweet. I love Animal Kingdom Lodge but you’re stuck with the buses unless you rent a car.

The holiday inn shuttle was a dumpster fire haha but the Ritz one was very prompt and the times were posted for the week ahead of time.

I hate hotels for anything more than a 1-2 night stay.
