At the house kicking back until the day starts. I'm not sure what we'll do today. I know we'll go to Savannah at some point but not sure when that will be. It sucks being here and not having my car. My stepdad has said I could take his car out but I've only used it once. I don't like asking for things
![]() Just paid my car bill and now thinking about paying down some of my credit card. I still need to get my mom a birthday gift or at the very least, a birthday card. I'm disappointed that I didn't think about that the other day. There was a Target right down the road from the buffet and there was even a Hallmark store that I saw but I think it might have been closed. Anyway, I must not forget to get her something. Share two pics of this bike that I saw at the Waynseville, NC Indian dealer. We stopped there on the way from Asheville to Gatlinburg. My shots of the bike are in the dealer so I'll use the store's better pics they have posted on the site. ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, I loved the color. I had not seen one in that color before. That's the same model of bike that I test rode in San Jose before I left. I don't know much about bikes yet but I love the bobber style. I really love the short back fenders and the slammed look of the bike. Also, the smaller the headlight assembly, the better (aesthetically) in my opinion.

Just had Casey's General Stores Taco Pizza for the first time, it was good. Not the best I ever had, but it hit the spot. Three slices of a large and I tapped out. At least I have left overs

So what am i doing now? My theater is in the bonus room over the garage. There are standard outlets along both walls that seem to be divided into two separate electrical circuits. I use the one on the right hand side to power my preamp, HTPC, 11 audio channels and 1 subwoofer. It has been working reasonably well for more than 10 years. There are two issues I would like to discuss in the hope of getting some more suggestions about how to solve them.
1) The right hand circuit has exhibited an annoying problem that I have ignored for many many years because it happens so rarely. If I jostle a power cord on the outlet at the back of the room (typically a low power device like a router), the outlet at the front of the room on the same side will trip my power strip reset and turn off all the components in my rack. If I jostle it again, the sequence repeats but turns everything back on. 2) I just had the amp repaired in my subwoofer and reinstalled it in the speaker. It works fine until there is an extreme load (e.g. opening of Edge of Tomorrow) when once again the circuit resets and all the outlets lose power. The circuit breaker is not tripped and I can restore power the same way as in case 1). This scenario is interesting to me because I have previously played many loud movie soundtracks with all of the gear (and the amp before it was repaired) and never seen this happen. I assume the underlying problem is that the power requirements of my system are now overloading the capacity of the circuit. At this point I think the best solution is to simply hire an electrician and add another circuit to the room but I am curious to see if anyone has a different explanation for the problems I am seeing. |
