This might not be "right now" but wanted to share from last night. This is from one of my favorite places to hike.

I could not see anything last night. It was like the eclipse all over again.

Great shot though.

Was pretty hungry after work so I came up to Denny's for some AYCE pancakes and some pancake puppies. I really like the frosting that they come with. Afterward, I think I'll head to the Harley dealer and see if I can test ride something. That was the plan anyway. It's pretty cool and overcast today but I think it should be a nice enough day to test ride around the block.

And thinking out loud, my first order of pancakes should be here by now. Ah yes, here they are now

Sounds so good. I used to always get the eggs over easy, with hash browns and the chicken fried steak along with an order of biscuits and gravy....especially in the early morning hours after a little .

I didn't know if I was going to go with breakfast or lunch. I'm the type of guy that can eat breakfast at any time of the day.
The weather hasn't gotten much better but that's okay. As long as it's not raining, I'm happy.

And Fors, while you're here...so the Scout Bobber is the bike that I REALLY want. I want to do another test ride before I know for sure. But that's the one that I kind of have my heart and mind set on. I love these colors. Do you have a preference?

All Black....I have grown to love a worn look on a bike. The word is typically referred to as "patina". I like "matte" paint and a look where the bike looks "weathered". May sound strange, but there is something about a bobber with a worn look to it. But I have to be honest, my last bike had 16" ape hangars and a good size sissy bar, so it had an old school look. It was not "raked" out up front, but I love the looks of the older bikes.

Any man that puts anything called sissy on his bike must sit down when he pees

I think I know what you mean. I really love matte paint jobs. You see a number of cars around here with that style. I suppose some could be from wraps. I really like that bronze color but I love all four colors. The blue is a shiny blue but it looks really good too. If I had to choose right now, I wouldn't be able to.

As for the bike itself, I can't think of any other vehicle that I've ever seen that looks so damn cool in the way this bike does. I've seen a lot of sick cars but this bike is something else

I found the hardest part after getting a bike is not spending even more money to "make it your own". I must of added another $5,000-$7,000 in after market parts to improve the look and performance. I think I bought some Vance & Hines pipes, S&S air intake and carburetor (yes, my last bike was NOT fuel injected), braided stainless steel cables, new grips, pedals, etc.....it just adds up!

Listening to the 24-Bit 96KH version of The Sundays' Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. Enjoying the sweet, sweet sounds.

No, I didn't. That's very cool. I like the look of the cans, too.

I ended up test riding three bikes at the Harley dealer and enjoyed riding all of them. I definitely would need more time with each bike so maybe I'll look into a ride-sharing option in the near future.

Worked an hour of overtime so got off at 7:30am this morning. Almost an hour later, I'm cleaned up and ready to kick back and do absolutely nothing I'll play a little Just Cause 3 on PS4 and surf a bit and then head over to Chili's at 10am I think. The bar area should be open an hour early now that it's football season.

Getting ready to make the first batch of homemade chili since last April. Gonna cook it up in the croc pot, can't wait to have this for dinner tonight with a couple Samuel Adams Octoberfest Beers. Next Saturday I am going to attempt to make Cowboy Soup for the first time ever and watch the Iowa vs Michigan State football game set to start at 6:30pm on NBC.

Will be off work in 47 minutes. Tonight was my holiday but I had volunteered to work. I was thinking I might work tonight (Monday) which is my first day off. It turns out that I’m not working and I wish I had known because I’ll be going back up to the mountains for probably the final time this year. Had I known I was not going to be working, I would have packed my bag and driven my car to work and gotten gas.

Anyway, I’m headed back to Heaven so I can’t really complain

Lots of baseball tonight. Boiling some eggs at the moment. Windy and chilly day here. We even lost power for a brief minute.

Def doing heat tonight. Down to 37.
