Think I'm going to hit Costco and get something to eat and then pop into Barnes & Noble which I often do after going to Costco as they're in the same plaza. I think I've been going to that B&N since 2011 and unfortunately, it's closing in January. They've already started dropping the prices on items so I might look to pick up some new books and mags.

Don't think I've been since January, I'll go next month once my benefits kick in. Might not be next month since peak is going to keep me busy for weeks! Still on a bd.com posting spree, going to eat lunch in a bit then go for a run at 3 and lift weights before dinner.

Just got back from the gym. I have been a runner for the last 10 years, and I finally took a real look at myself and decided I am too thin (I was only at 3% body fat, yep). So, I joined a gym last week on Monday and now I go 4 days a week, stopped running completely and started to eat about 4,000 calories a day (based on my current weight, age and height)...with about 100g of protein a day. I am eating every 2 hours and drinking a lot of water too. Plus I am taking creatine to help with recovery/off days..gained 3 lbs in 10 days..pretty sure it is all muscle as I have no fat to convert to muscle. Looking forward to more noticeable results in a few months.

Funny that I had no pain before going but now I do lol. He said he had to buzz the tooth a bit which probably means smoothing it out for the new filling.

Have a cleaning scheduled for next week as well. Mixed feelings when it comes to this new dentist. I def miss my old one who called it quits during Covid.

Hit Costco, Barnes & Noble and the BMW bike dealer and now I'm home heating up my refried bean with cheese chip dip. Going to watch a movie tonight. I started Mr. Nobody (Jared Leto film) some time back and didn't get too far. I might go with that one tonight or pick something else out. I have a feeling I might go with something I'll be more familiar with such as Ferrari which I watched in the theater. I'd like to watch something that I haven't seen before, Mr. Nobody for example, or something I've only seen in the theater, Ferrari for example. What will I ultimately decide? I dunno.

Decide upon a motorcycle already and get it! I want to see what you ultimately decide upon.

No, you just want me to stop mentioning it in every other post I make I'm now thinking I might wait until the spring when it gets a bit warmer. I think one can still ride in the winter here in California though. I may stop by the Indian dealer next week and talk some numbers which I haven't done yet.

I ended up giving Child 44 my second viewing last night. I read the wiki page of the Soviet serial killer that the film (and book) is loosely based on. Just awful.

Enjoying breakfast at Denny's and I think I might order their delicious apple crisp for dessert. It's really good. I just read a chapter from the book The Temporary European that I'm currently working on. This chapter was on Provence food markets and while I'm not real eager to try foods that I'm not sure I'll like, it does have me wanting to go explore some Provencal markets myself.

Drinking some water and going over my daughter's wish list for Christmas. I really can't figure out why a 10 year old is asking for a $50 water bottle, can someone enlighten me? Like what do these bottles do differently than a <$20 water bottle? On the upside she's not asking for anything tech related this year, everything on her list is more fitness/wellness related so that's something I guess... :/

Maybe that $50 water bottle also does texts so it is tech-related and that's why it's so expensive

Maybe its because all her friends are getting one?

I really want to see what you choose. I am looking forward to reading about the adventures that you will have and viewing the photos that you will take along the way. You do take some pretty good pictures.

Someone fill me in on the new trend of drinking $50 water.

We’re getting our first snowfall of the year tomorrow so I’m getting ready for that. Looks like it will be 5-8” which is significant for the first one of the year.

Knowing that, I took a final drive in the convertible today. Put about 100 miles on it. Hibernation mode will begin soon.

Thanks, and I definitely will post pics if/when I get it
I definitely know the bike that I want. It's just a matter of picking the color.
