[Show spoiler]Trouble

Swimming in a mountain of sorrow
Surrounded by all this trouble
The lights are dim, the time’s getting slim
It’s about now that we take it all down
But all I want to do is not mean nothing
For another couple of days

Lying awake when I should be sleeping
I can’t seem to shut down
All this noisy trouble
The TV’s on and glowing
But there ain’t much worthing showing
Truth be told, truth be told
I’m tired of growin’ old

I wouldn’t bet on myself
To do any more than screw it all up
I wouldn’t build this into something
When trouble hangs around me

Listening to Harry Connick Jr's She and wallowing. It's what I do best. Another Christmas came and all santa left was misery. Not even coal which one could use. Next year will be better, but I know that ain't true. Hasn't been for years. Don't mind me. A year ago today my dad died. I'm just trying to get through this week.

Well, I hear that's the thing if you live close to the Mason/Dixon line. Or in Alabama.

I am doing laundry now, went to the gym and cleaned the downstairs this morning as well. Technically I am "working from home" today...so I'm am getting paid to do all this.

Wow! That's incredible. I had only rented it on AppleTV, but it was the 4K version. The film looked amazing. I'm glad they were able to restore it from all that damage. I'll definitely pick up a copy of this soon.

Wal-Mart

Just got back from Walmart. I bought their X-Max candies which were on clearance for 50% off. I had to have my Reese’s Pieces.

Reese's Pieces are the best.

Change of plans for today, going to bowl at 2 then go run 4 miles in the mud and lift weights at the gym before dinner.

About to soak my feet before bed. I do need to get BBT on BD at some point since it's still one of my all-time favourite shows.

Was going to order the UK Peaky Blinders complete series set from Amazon UK but ordered it from Amazon US instead and saved about $11 with free shipping. Woohoo.

Relaxing after getting a few things accomplished today. All projects went as planned, too. That’s like hitting green lights all the way through town.

Just finished watching the PopTart Bowl! I don't have any Pop Tarts, so I ate a few Ferrero Rocher.

A little past 6:30am and just got off work and headed home. Was thinking Costco for lunch but might do Mountain Mikes for pizza buffet. That will be my first stop I think and they don’t open until 11am. After that might hit up Fjallraven again to check out an item and then head to Cycle Gear to check out more helmets.

Watching/listening to the s/o trying to plan economically for a Disney Cruise for four children, a baby, and at least five adults. It’s like watching three monkeys humping a football. I would find it funny af, but I think this will be a bone of contention for us in the future, both near and far. I don’t like Disney stuff at all, for the most part. And to throw an easy $10K (likely much more) away on a trip that will mostly be forgotten by the attendees?!? Come on now. A vacation is for relaxation and resetting, at least for me. Doing Disney crap for a week on the high seas sounds like floating torture chamber.

I never took my kids there....and they never asked to go. That good parenting right there.

That's some odd kids there, then. LOL. Who doesn't like Disney World or Disneyland? I will say that I am not the biggest fan of cruises, but they are very relaxing. You don't have to do anything if you don't want to. The last cruise I was on, I did nothing but mull around and relax. it was rather enjoyable. As for what I'm currently doing, I am listening to some old music I haven't heard in FOREVER. Thought since next year will mark 35 years since I first discovered my BIG bug for music and 120 Minutes I would play some records from that year. So far, I've played Aztec Camera's Stray & The Charlatans UK Some Friendly. Think I might add The Charlatans' last release to my Amazon cart.
