Finishing this cup of coffee before I cut my hair. Just deleted the last of my social media accounts (I still have Reddit and YouTube, if those count), I think I'm going to give myself a hair cut and finish going over my 2025 budget. My daughter just text me that she went for a 3 mile run in the snow this morning, her first run since heart surgery. She's definitely been my inspiration lately, sadly I haven't done anything active in the last couple weeks.

Just got back from the gym. I have been a runner for the last 10 years, and I finally took a real look at myself and decided I am too thin (I was only at 3% body fat, yep). So, I joined a gym last week on Monday and now I go 4 days a week, stopped running completely and started to eat about 4,000 calories a day (based on my current weight, age and height)...with about 100g of protein a day. I am eating every 2 hours and drinking a lot of water too. Plus I am taking creatine to help with recovery/off days..gained 3 lbs in 10 days..pretty sure it is all muscle as I have no fat to convert to muscle. Update on my weight training...been a little over 7 weeks now. Post above was from November 18. Gained 20 lbs so far (my target is 40). Friends have all told me they can definitely see a difference, especially my upper body (which I have been focusing on). My girlfriend said she loves the transformation and is especially happy. Not bad for a 57 year old single father.

Sitting at work, eating a burger, and listening to Figure 8 by Elliott Smith. That is a hell of an underrated record. So is Aimee Mann's Bachelor no 2 (Or The Last Remains of The Dodo). Deathly is a fantastic song and it has one of the best couplets/put down on record. If not the best.

Taco Bell for breakfast. I was planning on getting food at Taco Bell and then going to Costco for the cheap soda. I overthink stuff too much and I've said several times how I can be really stingy. The main reason I'm stingy right now is because I'm saving. I'm putting all this money into my checking account and not leaving myself a whole lot in my checking. So rather than pay $3 for a medium soda at Taco Bell, it was going to be off to Costco. But while I was waiting, the guy thanked me for being patient and gave me a small cup to get soda. I then saw a guy who works there that I'm friendly with. He gave me an order of cinnamon twists

Finished up with a 5-piece churro from Jack In The Box. Now, at Straw Hat using the wifi and surfing the net. YouTube says hi

Not for me. My neighbors have been having sex for the last 1.5 hours and the woman is obviously faking it as there is no way she is really that loud and enjoying it that much because geeeeez. I did hear her say that the neighbor (assuming she means me) is cute and that it'd be hot to have a threesome with me.

And I'm totally joking I'm at Chili's and actually there was one commercial where it seemed like the volume was turned up because it was uncomfortably loud. They've got five games on now with the volume being up for the Cowboys/Commanders. They started with the volume on for the Bucs and Saints but they must have changed the channel at some point. Don't see anyone wearing D or W gear so not sure if it was because of a request or what.

Sitting here at work trying my best not to crawl out of my skin. My legs are acting up again and it's killing me. They usually only bothered me at night, but my restless leg syndrome is getting worse. I can't take it. I'd soon rather cut off my feet/legs than to deal with this. This is no way to live. I'm telling my doctor at my physical next week.
