Yeah, I had some clothes and several movies and I'm pretty sure I had Manta Lab, Kimchi, FAC etc editions get tossed. I think all of my car show pics, which also include the few pics of myself when I was younger, are gone, stuff from the Marine Corp. To be honest, I mean I'm feeling alright right now but it's kind of devastating really.

I'm chewing my last bit of steak as I type this and thinking about the cheesecake that I'm going to order. I'm also thinking about the stuff that I lost and that kind of makes me want to cry

Dug through my pile of Switch games and pulled out FF VIII. Have no recent memories of the current save file so starting a new game!

Being greatly amused by a certain poster's unhinged rant over Criterion covers and malding a little I got dogpiled for not liking what his company puts out.

Check your app! It’s YMMV- it did not show up in my primary account.

Watching Five Nights at Freddy's in the background while I post and finish getting ready for today's 10:00 interview for a part-time job.

On the light rail to go to the mall to see a 9:45am showing or Nosferatu. After that, probably head to Costco and Barnes & Noble. I have my anger management class later at 2pm. Might end up at The Container Store and Fjallraven later. Also thinking about biking my credit card bill as I am now paying interest. The balance is about $1,600 something. I will probably take from my bike fund and be done with it.

This Vegas business has just about 0% of the punk Elvis, which is a shame.
It's funny you bring this up, as I was thinking about Elvis this past weekend. And his place in rock and roll. He basically stole/co-opted from others to become successful. Rock and roll was here long before Elvis. Elvis just made it acceptable to listen to. And he did so by stealing. Everything he ever recorded that wasn't his own to begin with ended up being his. Since he got full publishing rights on everything he recorded. I came to the conclusion that he is the first and original American Idol. Manufactured by one man at the expense of others. Rarely did he do anything on his own accord. It was always what Parker or his dad wanted. In that sense he also reminds me of the 10,000 Maniacs song You Happy Puppet.

TUESDAY:

They have us starting 2 hours later this week and my clock is all off.

It feels like 1:24 but it's 3:24.

Almost time to eat?

Weird.

I even watch Below Deck this morning.

Almost Friday!

Just logged out for the day. I'm exhausted! I need to find one full time job and stick with it, but in the meantime I think I'll pour myself a drink and watch a couple episodes of The walking Dead with dinner-chili which has been simmering all day.

Drinking some coffee and just discovered that I'm caught up on my work for this week, so I now have today and tomorrow off. I may gather up my documents and start working on my income tax return today just to get a head start on it this year.

Costco, Barnes & Noble combo again today. This B&N is closing for good on Sunday. They had all books at 25% off for quite awhile but they're up to 75% off. Magazines are 30% off so I'm going to do a bit of shopping before I leave. I've been coming to this Barnes & Noble since I moved to San Jose 13 years ago. I'm going to miss the place.

That’s too bad that they’re closing.

Not bad for a 57 year old single father.
Ah, a man after my own heart! I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I spent my younger years bodybuilding (naturally, mind you), and managed to get myself to 248 lbs. and 12% bodyfat fat at (on a 6'1" frame). I was a skinny kid at 16, 155 lbs., and took me about 7 years to get there. Now at 54, I'm leaner at 210 lbs these days, but I still train 4 days on a 2-day split Mon-Fri, which works out to 2-on/1-off, 2-on/2-off Mon-Fri, so I get my weekends off for recovery, which is much more important these days.

And wow, 20 lbs at our age is awesome! That's an accomplishment! Keep it up!
