I bought four books yesterday and four books today and might even try and find a couple more before they close for good on Sunday. At 75% off, why the heck not.
Unfortunately, they started boxing up the magazines yesterday and they started with the section that I was going to pick from. All good though

Waiting for FedEx and USPS to deliver packages today. Looking forward to the deliveries for a different reason this time. I have been slowly stepping away from the collectibles business, for various reasons. After today, I have just one more item left to be shipped to me that was preordered before I decided to stop dealing, and then I will be TRULY retired. I retired from FMC and Bell Textron over a decade and a half ago, but I have been working for myself since then. After many thousands of transactions, and many more thousands of dollars, I am going to try to relax.

Getting ready to get some son's hockey gear together and prepped for his game tonight. Game time is 7:45, and it will take an hour to get there. His last regular season game is Monday night, and if we win both games, we are in the playoffs. Win one, and we would need help....lose both and we are done. First practice was Sept 13th....can't believe the season is almost over already.

The winch rope/cable snapped on my quad today. Pain in the ass to find the broken end and get it through the feeder but we managed.

Had to do a little surgery but all is well!

Went to Starbucks and grabbed a venti caramel brûlée. They gave me a $3 any drink offer so check your app if you’ve got an account with them. It’s good thru the weekend.

I have the rare Saturday night off so after work this morning, I came up to San Carlos for some clam choooodaaaah! I'm still here and thinking about what to order next. Not sure if I'll get another bowl or something else.
Afterward, I don't know where I'll head. I've been so hesitant to put miles on the car. I'll have had it for 2 years next Saturday and I've still got less than 16,300 miles on it. I may hit highway 1 and head up the coast. I could go all the way into San Francisco. I've only been up there twice since I've had the car I think. Whatever I decide to do, it will include a nice little drive
