Sam’s Club was a sh*tshow but glad I made it back before the snow started. The big storm rolls in tomorrow afternoon. Looks like half a foot in my area…maybe more.

Just survived the boss fight(s) at the end of disc 2 of Final Fantasy VIII. Time for bed! I seem to remember getting stuck on a certain boss fight in this game awhile back. We'll see if I can get past it this time with my own "skill" and help from the Internet. Hard to believe I beat this game several times before, guess my brain before I turned 20 was better at video games than it is now for some reason.

You need to get out and do some camping/exploring etc this year and take pictures. I think you and I seem to be the most outdoorsy of the bunch here but I am far from an outdoorsman

7:12am and just got home from work a short time ago and the weekend has commenced. I'm not sure what I'm going to do today. As I've said before, my day off will normally center around where I'm going to eat lunch. I was thinking if the weather is good that I might go for my first bike ride of the year and my first bike ride in several months. I don't think that's going to happen though. I could take the bus up to Palo Alto to hit the Patagonia store and get lunch up there. I could always walk over to Stanford and do the tourist thing as it's been awhile since I've been there.

I've also been meaning to get back and try more motorcycle helmets on so that's kind of what I had planned for the day. Not sure I'll get around to doing that though.

To anyone wondering if I have any responsibilities or adulting to do...nah, not really. As long as I walk out the door with pants on, I'm doing okay

Trying to find my way back to myself and my somewhat normal sanity. This weekend has been murder. I have been off all weekend. Very tired and can barely do anything but lay on the couch. Today isn't any better. I ran late for work because I couldn't get up. I am so, SO tired. And there's no reason for it.

Surprised I had the energy to stay up after the movie. It's 10pm right now and besides a little nap I took earlier today (maybe 2 hours or so), I've been up since about 9pm last night.

I think I could stay up a bit later but it will be about time to call it a night pretty soon.

I'm getting ready to spend my morning at the DMV renewing my driver's license and getting a Real ID version of it. Once again I have to prove to the government that I am a citizen, so I am bringing the half dozen or so documents that they require along with proof of my military service to also get the word "Veteran" added to my license.

It's already a crappy frigid morning with temps of 8 degrees, so why not warm myself up with a visit to the bureaucratic DMV hellhole?

There's a lull at work right now, so I'm catching up with the site (this site) and it just hit me that the Venom III steelbook should be arriving tonight.

I dunno if that's a good thing or not, but it's coming and now the collection grows by one more (not so) Marvel movie.

I am surprised and happy to report that my experience at the DMV this morning was a pleasant one. I was waited upon by a courteous and efficient employee right away. I got everything done that I needed to do.
