Not me. No snow here. And I don't think we're dude for any for a good while.

I'm not sure if you'll get out this way again soon but when you're ready, I will try and help with some suggestions. Despite what we're hearing about San Francisco and all its issues, you can't come up here and not visit the city by the bay. Yosemite would be a must as well. And I know you didn't have any luck down there but you gotta get a hot Colombian DoorDasher to deliver your food up here

At Chili's where I had my anger management class. It went by quickly today. It helped as I was engaged and talking quite a bit. Right now I'm snacking on my chips and my Diet Coke.
Going to check out some motorcycle gear online. The helmet should be in to my local Cycle Gear tomorrow. The other items I'll need to get eventually are a heavy jacket, boots, gloves and maybe some riding pants with armor. I'd say the helmet is an absolute must and then the gloves would be pretty essential. If I can stay upright, I may never need the jacket or pants or the boots but I dunno...I mean if I'm gonna ride a bike, I should look the part
You want to look like one of the Village People, don't you?

Happy Birthday! (belated or otherwise)

Gotta love local joints. The owners of my favorite pizza place are from New York and Chicago, and they serve authentic style pizzas from those locations. Best pizza I've had in California.

Yeah, it's only the 2nd time it has rained here this winter, at least in my area anyway, which is considered the low desert. Can't wait to see the silly excuses the water company is going to make to price gouge due to a drought this summer, but that's another story.

Otherwise, normally I'd have re-watched Blade Runner 2049 about 10 times by now lol.

I wouldn't mind just a little bit of snow... just not enough that I'd have to be outside with a shovel, and whatever else yawl need to do living in the snow.

We did get a few inches end of the year in 2014, just before New Years. It was enough that I took the kids out on innertubes. It lasted about a week.

Enjoying the last of my weekend before returning to work tonight. Hit Costco for a cheap breakfast/lunch. Managed to save a bit as I only got a hot dog and sundae today. After that, I hit up this motorcycle shop that I had heard of but forgotten about. They had a nice selection of Husqvarna, KTM and Ducati bikes. Was quite impressed with their showroom.

After that, I went over to Cycle Gear to pick up my new helmet

*Looks outside at all the snow and ice.

Not here.

We're getting another storm on Saturday with snow and freezing rain. Should be fun! Another 3 weeks of this crap. My propane level is on about 15% right now.

My electric bill was up around 30% from last month due to the cold snap we had in January....I am paying $50 more this month than last year. I have had it with old fart (man) winter!

I take it you have electric for home heat?

Tired of it too but at least we are on the tail end of it now. Mother Nature is just messing with us now and making up for the mild winter (accumulation-wise) we had during Dec and Jan.

Yeah, electric heat. I knew it would go up, but not quite that much.

I've got electric upstairs and propane on the lower floor. Had a nice mini-split that warmed up the area pretty well until the house got struck by lightning. Crappy insurance company would not pay for a replacement. So we dropped them very quickly.

Had oil for the longest time until 'ol Blue (color of our furnace) decided to call it a career. Got over 40 years out of it. They don't make them like they used to. Plumber talked us into a propane setup. Definitely cleaner, quieter and more efficient but the oil still heated the home better, imo. It's also a combo-boiler on demand unit and does our hot water as well. Gained a bit more space in the basement as it mounts on the wall.
