Interesting. I have always split up major body parts and then broken it out from there based on what I'm doing. So considering that triceps are involved in a lot of chest exercises, I've always gone chest/biceps, back/triceps, etc.

Just scarfed down some of the wife's killer smoked gouda/gruyere/baby bella mushroom quiche. About to get ready for dinner at the steakhouse and then a comedy show afterwards. Let the good times roll.

I've only ever split upper and lower (inc abs), but I prefer to lift every other day, so combine usually (upper, large muscle groups first, then lower, large muscle groups first). Rest days involve cardio only.

But I am in no shape to brag.

I do chest/back along with abs on Wednesdays and Saturday, and some cardio afterwards on a Saturday. Then I do arms and legs on Mondays and Fridays. I also do some ab work every day at home (I work from home) and run 2 miles on days I don't go to the gym (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays).

I am currently eating 4,000 calories with about 130 grams of protein in there along with another 10 grams of creatine every day. Worst part is watching my waist size go up a bit with the weight I have gained (I was a 32 inch waist, but now more of a 33/34).

It gives you an excuse to buy a new wardrobe and further reinvent yourself. I bet that civiclx could make some fashion recommendations for you.

\Had my taxes done earlier today and while my return isn't what I was hoping it would be, I am glad to be getting money back. Maybe that means they took too much from me during the year but right at this moment, I'm happy to be getting money back.

Afterward, I went to the Indian dealer to browse and there was a guy ordering the exact bike that I want. Back in my import (Japanese cars) days, I would have been upset had someone gotten something before me. Just the competitive spirit like if someone got a body kit or set of rims I wanted before me.
Anyway, almost time for bed. Got to check Target and see if there's an order to be made.

After much deliberation, I decided to go with the BFI edition of Seven Samurai vs. the Criterion 4K. The latter lacks HDR/Dolby Vision + I already own the Blu-ray so I have all those features already.

The Limited Edition set from BFI is sold out at Orbit, Diabolik and Greenhouse, but surprisingly I was able to get it from Amazon UK with free shipping.

Having a beer and unwinding after dinner.

Played Fortnite.... just long enough to get the last Godzilla items.

Now I am looking for something to watch from my collection or streaming.

Trying to wait out my legs and this godforsaken heat I'm having at the moment. One of these will be my downfall. I can't even think to write. My legs are like little fireworks going off. I've taken a dose of my medicine, but it's not kicking in. I don't want to take another one cause it's only 9:50 pm and I'm not ready to go to bed yet. I'm jostling all over the place.

Says you. Another up and down day. I'm getting fed up of this yo yo life. Hoping tomorrow is better.

Dude, my waist size is 36 and I don't have the physique you have. Hell, in fact, I look like Clint Howard's illegitimate pregnant son.

Going to read a bit before bed. 9 hour logistics shift followed by upper body session at the gym was a good day.

Actual bullets or the small squiggly kind?

Up at Broiler Express where I had one bowl of DELICIOUS clam chowder. I thought I would get a couple more bowls but I just ordered the fish&chips. I'm not sure what I'll do afterward. I think I might take a quick drive through Woodside and then head back to San Jose. Normally tonight would be my Friday but I revised my schedule so I got two more days of work.

Just finished the 3rd season premier episode.

I like how they set things up. This show is so good. If you haven’t seen it, go back and watch the first two seasons & thank me later.
