Ah man, that sucks, I hope it's an easy fix!

I had to deal with that at the end of last year, about a week before the series of storms came through.
I wouldn't of caught it in time (and it would of been unthinkable of what would of happened)
if I hadn't of been in the Attic replacing the bathroom vent/fan,
that's the only reason why I saw/caught it in time

Good that you caught that!

The area is completely covered by solar panels. Last I was up there, the area under the panels was clogged up with debris and stupid pigeon droppings. I wasn't as proactive as you and didn't take care of it and forgot about it . Looks like it's disrupting the flow of the water and I think it's collecting up there. Hopefully it just needs cleaning up and no more than paper. But the ceiling is gonna need repair. Normally I'd take care of that part, but it's in a vaulted ceiling part of the house that I don't care to get to, so I'll likely just have it repaired... sigh. Hopefully it all won't be too much so that I can just handle it out of pocket and not have to file a claim.

I read this as "Do You have shingles" thinking red had the infection.

So I finally got my Titanic 4K replacement disc from Paramount after it took about 9 months. While the missing dialogue error is correct and no longer there, the disc is scratched all to hell. There is no winning.

Faulty 4K disc is mint
replacement 4K disc with corrected/missing dialogue is FUBAR'd.

Just counted, 21 full marathon medals and 2 50k medals so tomorrow is my 22nd full marathon.

About to run 2 miles before lunch and then head to Des Moines to hit the race expo and lounge in the hotel room till bed. Going to be using their wifi like crazy with my laptop and to do Pokemon tera raids on Violet.

Congrats, that is impressive.

I ran for over the last 15 years or so (usually 4 miles every day), but no marathons. I decided my body got too thin 4 months ago (I was down to 144 pounds) so I stopped and hit the gym. Gained 30 pounds in those 4 months while maintaining my waist size.

However, I recently introduced cardio again with my workouts, and with the extra weight and time off, 30 minutes jogging is all I am good for now, LOL.

Yeah it's definitely a lot, want to eventually work my way up to 100Ks, don't think 100 mile races are in my wheel house unless I walk a lot and sleep on a course.

I should add...I don't know how old you are, but I am 57....not sure my body could even hold up for that distance. I always run outside when I do.....waaayyy too boring in the gym. That includes thru winter and snow along with summer and over 100 degrees. Actually, I prefer temps over 100 degrees if I had to choose between the two. A strong headwind in winter absolutely s*cks!

If you can do the 100, that is quite impressive.

I'm 45 but I feel a lot younger most of the time due to the high stamina I've earned over almost 9 years of running. Also since I started running at 36 I'm probably less worn down than most 45 year olds so I have both going for me.

It never ends for you, does it? Sort of like my mood, depression, nightmares* and autism. Thank god my anxiety hasn't flared up much. That shit will kill ya. At least what mine is.

GOD NO!!!! I'd sooner walk naked in the freezing cold with five inches of snow, honey covered all over me, a beehive on my hand, and bears chasing me. I hate the heat. More so the humidity. When it's really hot outside, I sweat so bad it drips down into my butt crack and my berries. Heck, I have to clean house in the nude or else i will burn up like an MFer. Even with the air on. Two years ago me and my oldest sister had gone down to Walt Disney World in February. The plan was that we were going to walk into the park and all my siblings would be there. I was turning 50 and my oldest sister thought it would be a cool surprise. My brother suggested doing it in August around my birthday. My oldest sister told him that there is no way you will get me down there in August. I'm lowkey dreading summer this year. And I used to love summer. oh well.

*My nightmares would scare Stephen King to the brink of death. My brain is very creative. I was tested for aptitudes and I was VERY high in this (90%). So, my mind can conjure up just about anything and it's not pleasant.

Except for paying some bills, this is my third no-spend day in a row and I haven't even left my apartment since Tuesday which is shocking. I've gone to work of course but I haven't left except for that. The VTA is still on strike here so this is the fifth day without bus or light rail service. I did ride my bike to work yesterday and would have rode it home but I ended up getting off an hour and a half early. It was raining so I left with my lady (friend) who was leaving early and I left my bike at work and got a ride home with her.

Went straight to bed and slept for a few hours when I got home. It's one minute until 1pm and I'll watch a little YouTube and then maybe try and get back to sleep earlier than usual today. Oh yeah, and today is payday so yippee!

I did have it a couple of times during the mid 2000s. One of the most uncomfortable and weird experiences ever.

I say this to my wife all the time when she questions why I stayed in all day, "Leaving the house costs money and I have plenty of cool shit, side projects, food and booze here."

About to head to the starting point of the marathon and pee before it begins. Hopefully i won't have to do the other thing during the race.

Just wear a diaper and don’t be afraid to let it go if you need to. Might even give you an extra boost

I'm about to leave for St. Louis to attend a regional Cardiac Amyloidosis support group meeting. There will be doctors from several medical systems speaking including three of the 14 doctors that treat me.

I will also have the opportunity to talk with other patients who have this rare disease. I seldom get such a chance.

Hopefully, I will learn something new and useful today. I get a free lunch out of it if nothing else. The big pharmaceutical companies are picking up the tab.
