Getting ready to run a few necessary errands, and then it’s fun time for Grampa Lemmy. I am probably going to be making an offer on some vintage music gear this afternoon. Mayyyybe. I’m hoping to.

and the road at 9:45PM. (and the power went out)

We were surprised given the not so high priority area we live in,
but the Fire Dept, and a little later a Gas & Electric Assessment Team came out.

Bright and early this morning ( 7AM ) equipment was removing the tree from across the road,
and right before it finished up, the Power Company was on scene ready to work.

Oh and yes!...
At 5AM this morning some dude in a SUV came flying down the road and rammed right
into the downed tree.

It took him a bit, but he was able to get unstuck, it took him longer to pull all the branches
out from the front and under his SUV, but he finally was able to drive off.

I wonder just how messed up his SUV really is, because it really took him a while and
some effort before he was able to drive off?

And throughout all this I got about 2 hrs sleep
HA! I probably would've slept right through it. I can generally sleep through anything. A tornado could pass by and I wouldn't know it probably. I get it honestly, though. My mom was that way. You could drop an H bomb in her bedroom and she'd sleep right through it. My oldest sister used to be that way. It's nice to be able to sleep soundly. Though I do need medicine to do so. But that has more to do with my Restless Leg Syndrome. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older. it's one of the worst feelings in the world.

iPhones are the worst cameras out there. If you wanted a good camera you should've gone with the Samsung Galaxy Note phones. They are the best cameras out there that are not standalone. iPhones never had good cameras. Their phones are junk, too.

Still wondering where the hell my Criterion order from the 18th ended up.

Laundry day followed by some wonton soup and egg rolls for a mid-afternoon snack. Cold and windy out there today.

Watching (well, playing in the background while I work) the Dodgers game from last night that I fell asleep on in the 2nd inning.

Yeah that's happened over here. The trail I was talking about has serious riders, and the dirt bike guys are severely outnumbered. I haven't ridden a dirt bike since my late 20s (the ol' Honda CR500), but I don't have any sympathy for these guys because they're only doing it to piss off the MTB guys and also don't seem to care that the MTB trails are maintained by guys with shovels and garden tools.

Do you still plan to mountain bike? And speaking of helmets, I bought a new MTB full-face helmet a couple of years ago, but I only got a couple of uses out of it as I had to dial things down due to some health issues. I don't think I'll be able to ride heavy trails anymore.

Drinking down some creatine after a good workout. For once, I feel loose and good, and not sore. However, we'll see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow.

Disappointing Fors by doing research on more motorcycle protective gear

Actually, at IHOP where I did my last anger management class in the group. I did not know that today was the last class. It started raining on the walk over a couple hours ago. Wind 'bout ****ed up my umbrella but luckily it's okay. It's not dry but it's not raining either so I may try and get that ride in.

The pancakes I'm having are delicious. I've mentioned not being a fan of the frozen butter that IHOP serves with their pancakes so I asked them to have it melted and it's perfect. I started with the ham & cheese omelette that is part of the combo

We are under a tornado warning until midnight so I just finished getting everything ready and put in the room we use for shelter. Now I am going to relax and listen to some Neil Young records while I still have power.

Found out when I woke up this morning. He had a rough few years but is now at peace. I watched The Saint a few months ago which is such an underrated film.

Trying to get these photos off my phone and onto my laptop so I can post them here and send them over to a friend. That's one thing I don't like about Apple. They don't make it easy to use with anything that IS NOT Apple.

hahaha Fors

Finishing up at the VA after a short appointment. The doctor had some student with her I guess and she was a cute Indian girl

The weather is good today so I brought the bike and now I’m going to go for a little ride finally. The VA is in South San Jose in a pretty nice area so the ride should be a good one. This rain has made stuff green so have to enjoy the beauty while I can!
Probably finish up at Costco and then either head home or maybe go back to Cycle Gear again.
