I'm not a big fan of rain but we sure could use more of it and it does have its benefits. I wish it could be like that all year round without all the rain required to keep it like that.

How can you not be a big fan of rain. It's wonderful. There's so many things to do in the rain.
  1. Listen to good music (The Sundays' first album is good rainy day music)
  2. Make love in the rain
  3. Watch a good movie
  4. Make love while it's raining
  5. Run naked in the rain
  6. Listen to the rain hiting a skylight
  7. Recording music while it's raining
  8. Captain D's on a rainy day
  9. Take a shower in the rain
  10. Take a bath in the rain

Cutting out of work soon and gonna get out for a bit. Still early afternoon in California. Too gorgeous to be indoors today.

Not quite as green as civic up there in beautiful Northern Cali.
[Show spoiler]

I do have 26 miles of mountain bike trails in those hills in the background, less than a mile from my house.

I think I'm one of two Southern Californians who enjoys the rain (my wife is the other). We don't get enough of it. Except today I'm enjoying the sunshine and clear air/skies after it rained last night. I cut out of work for a bit earlier and picked up a late breakfast and coffee, and enjoyed it out in the patio.

I may take the Trek out this weekend for a ride but I'm not sure yet. I get off at 6:30am and don't have to be back to work until 10pm so I have plenty of time.

Went to Cycle Gear to try one a few pairs of boots and then went to the local Allstate office to make sure everything is good with my policy. USAA/Progressive was going to charge me over $3,050 a year for motorcycle insurance. I made several calls and Allstate was the cheapest at $481.11 for the year with pretty low deductibles.

And speaking of Cycle Gear, I joined their RPM program. It's $40 a year but it's pretty much already paid for itself in this first year. I do wish it was a one-time only payment like REI's program. Anyway, they're currently having a promo where you earn 10% cashback on purchases instead of the usual 5%. I think the next purchase will be boots so now I'm trying to decide if I want to go with an adventure/dual sport boot or a full motocross boot.
You know what they say

That's a hell of a difference, so much of one that it reinforces my belief that most insurance companies are colluding con artists.

Water only has one color. I mean, unless it's backed up and stuff. Now snow is a whole different story.

I thought that the reference would be an easy one to get, especially for some of you here.

Try placing the names of different colors in front of the word "shower" and see if that helps. Start with, say, silver, and see where that leads you.

Sitting here at work and waiting fifteen minutes until I clock in. Got my iPod and my Bluetooth speaker. Should be a good night. I just hope it’s a quick night. This is my Thursday. I do have iTunes on my phone and not just Apple Music. I should buy Smokey Robinson’s You’ve Really Got A Hold On Me so I can listen to it on repeat all night I heard someone playing it earlier today but didn’t know the name of the song or who sang it. I also like their song The Tracks Of My Tears. Maybe I should get a whole album (CD) from them.

Drove for Lyft last night from about 9pm to 2a. Shorter shift for me but then night was sort of quiet. For the first time ever, in over 2,000 rides previously given, I had this ***** say that my driving sucked and that I was lucky she hadn't choked me. I swear I wish I could unalive people with consequence. The rest of the night went without issue as they almost always do.

Right now fighting with the stupid ass Afterpay app.. never wants to work with Walmart.
