Laying in bed at 6:03pm and feeling a little worried. I’ve been up since 9:15pm last night and haven’t slept since then and I’m having trouble falling asleep. Afraid I’m either going to be hurting at work tonight or be late to work. Hoping neither of those things happen.

Celebrating Easter weekend with... a deep pan pizza! Traditional Easter fare.

Decided to change my oil today as it is long overdue, but it didn't go well haha.

I knew I was in for a bit of drama considering the car was at the dealer for the last one. They always over-torque everything. I had to use a breaker bar on the drain plug.

Then I got to the freaking oil filter.



That thing was really on tight and I have a blister on my hand from trying to unscrew it. I had to remove the wheel for better access.

I used the hillbilly screwdriver trick and stabbed the bastard to get more friction.




It worked!



I decided to rotate the tires as well.

My back is definitely feeling it now. I'll be resting for the rest of the evening. Baseball and NBA playoffs. Go Knicks!

I'm at work doing some OT working from 4 until 12 pm this is my 7th working day been at it since last Sunday doing the morning shift then but i'm off tomorrow before i'm back at it for Monday morning from 8 until 4 pm!!.

Just got back from the gym...no one was there since it is Easter morning, and it was glorious! Now I will raise my energy levels again by eating a few things and then go on a hike this afternoon with temps near 70 (my son is spending easter with his mom until tomorrow). I should be back from my hike by 3, so I can then watch NHL playoff hockey. Oh yeah, I am officially engaged, she said yes (of course ). Wedding date is October 25th.

I've been up since 8am getting everything together for my first Easter just my daughter and me. She requested no Easter basket this year (apparently her mom stopped doing that for her at age 6 sadly), but I did get her a large chocolate bunny and she did want to do a egg hunt. I hid them outside since it was sunny, she found all but 5 quite easily. I should've hid them better but that's alright. Probably going to make a pizza for us for later, my parents' invited us over to their place for a big holiday meal but I don't think I'm going to take them up on that offer since my daughter's super picky and I really don't want to hear them complain about that today. Hope everyone's having a joyous holiday!.

Just had some chili and an English muffin and now I've got the bear boiling in water on the stove. I told him if he kept it up, he was going to get put to the flame. And of course I'm talking about the honey I've got in hot water trying to thaw it out.

Going to watch some YouTube and look at more riding gear online. I happened to click on a YouTube short of DMX giving an interview. I'm thinking he died just last year, quite recently. I Googled and he's been gone for 4 years now. Damn.
