Now, I KNOW y'all need to be committed. James Taylor and good don't belong in the same sentence ever. That is unless you are comparing him to Taylor Swift. But then glass pieces scraped across a pe-ker is better than Taylor Swift. So, that isn't saying much. OMG!!! Talk about boring. The music lover in me admires the playing and talent, but the punk in me wants to pukes my guts out. Even Suzanne Vega was never that dull. Paint drying sounds better. And I love the innocence mission who never get SUPER hyper these days. You have to know how to work with very little. Which is strange, as James Taylor should know. He's got very little.

At IHOP where I just had one of their $7 deals, the ham & cheese omelette with two pancakes. I'm now waiting for an order of two of their New York cheesecake pancakes.

Probably going to head out to a motorcycle shop afterward and sit on a few bikes. Unfortunately, with the Japanese brands, dealers don't allow test rides so sitting on a bike to get a feel for it is the best you can hope for. I've got my list down to 8 bikes right now.

I brought my popcorn tub from last week with me. The mall with the theater that I go to is right across the street from IHOP. I may pop in after I'm done here and see if I can get a refill. If I can, I'll probably then go to the Costco down the road and get another soda.

Later this evening, I'm going to go my second Bike Night at Cycle Gear. I don't think my buddy will be able to go tonight but I may meet another person who I befriended on a local message boards for Bay Area motorcyclists. I had been thinking the person was an amigo this whole time and it turns out that they're actually an amiga. I doubt she's a barely 5' badass Colombian in her 20s but if by chance she is...

I upgraded my AV processor to an Arcam AV41 not too long ago. James Taylor and all the other boring music I listen to sounded so freakin' good that I ended up upgrading the AVR in my 2nd setup to an Arcam AVR11. Now I can listen to all my boring music all day long in pure audio bliss while I'm in the office working and when I plop on the couch in the evenings.

Same here. I just picked up Prince The Hits 1 & 2, which I also already have on vinyl. But gotta have options since I have multiple listening areas, and now I can rip to flac too for the phone/truck.

I did the same (upgraded to the Marantz AV10) and I too am experiencing the same audio bliss.

The AV10 was on my short-list, too. But I had already owned a Marantz processor previously (AV7005). Although that was 13 years ago already , still I thought I'd try something different this time around, and I got such a deal on the Arcam that it was a no-brainer for me. The money I saved actually was enough to cover the 2nd unit too (which was also on sale) with a little over $100 to spare. So I said what the hell, 2 for less than the price of 1!

All good, we like what we like, you just seemed to have quite the reaction to it is all. Funny part about it is I can listen to JT on one spin, Tool the next, Fleetwood Mac followed by Metallica's "Kill 'Em All"...diversity in musical taste is fun.
