A few more pics from earlier today.

Passed a McLaren on the way to Alice's and then watched as two Lambos mashed out rather loudly.

Saw a couple nice Supras out on the ride

I love the looks of a Ferrari but if I were stuck with the Mercedes next to it, I sure wouldn't be complaining!

Not familiar with Lotus so unsure of what model this is

Had to get gas before heading back to San Jose. The guy with the Viper was down from Canada. Had to make a joke about being okay if he wanted to take a picture of my badass bike

It was definitely a good time and hopefully it won't be long before we're able to get back there on another weekend.

Indeed. If I got to pick one, it'd be the yellow Ferrari or the black Mercedes next to it I think. The Viper was sick as well.

You say that now, but wait til you get one. Then you'll be complaining like hell. I ought to know. My dad owned a couple of Porsches over the course of his life. Worst cars in the world. They are so low to the ground that getting in them in is like the worst thing. I always hated getting in that car. Low riding cars are not as fun as you think. And some of those looked very low riding. Not that high risers are better. It has to be in the middle somewhere. On top of all that, the cars are barebones. No frills or anything. not like a lot of cars. If you want the frills (like air conditioning*) that'll cost ya extra. Upkeep is a bi--h as well.

*I looked at a Ferrari when I was 18 and they wanted $150,000 for the car. It didn't come with anything. No a/c, no radio, no nothing.

They do that to save weight. Aside from the radio (‘cause you want to hear the engine). It’s mildly ridiculous. The Ferrari Enzo, F40 and F50 all came without those standard features along with no carpeting or even power windows!

I did a little shopping today in Allentown (Billy Joel wrote a song about the area) and hit Costco for the food court even though I’m no longer a member.

One might be surprised that Billy Joel has quite a footprint in my iTunes library and Allentown is a great song. River Of Dreams was my first album by him so I got into his music late. Pretty sure I have or had the My Lives box set but I never opened it. As much as I claim to like Billy Joel's music, I'm sure there are many songs that I have not heard.

I count his Essential Billy Joel as one of my favorite albums. I really like To Make You Feel My Love off his Greatest Hits, Vol. 3 album. I may prefer Garth's Shameless a bit more than Billy's version but I much prefer Billy's To Make...over Garth's or Adele's version. Garth has actually covered Billy a few times.

What kind of prices are you seeing for the album you got?

I really like the shade of blue on the motorcycle in your most recent batch of pictures. That's really all that caught my eye.

I decided to go for several of his single albums on SACD from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (The Stranger, Glass Houses, etc.) and while they sound good and better than redbook CD, they don't sound as good as I had hoped, but presumably that's inherent in the original recordings.
