I've got a decent gaming rig, and some of the features I used previously (like multi desktop and multiple monitors) are comparably sluggish just switching back & forth, which were otherwise blazing on 10 with the same build. Same goes for my gaming laptop which has a RTX 4070 and 40 GB of RAM and shipped with 11, with bloatware removed. Same also goes for both of my work laptops running 32 GB.

Fortunately at least games still run great on my main gaming rig, I haven't noticed any drop in framerate since the upgrade.

It was good. Went with heat level hot. And it did have some kick. Spent a little extra time in the loo. Reaper might've actually killed me. Lol. Now for the compulsory comparison to Canes. I find Canes chicken is more tender/juicer, albeit smaller. Dave's is bigger but dryer. But still very tasty. As for dipping sauces, Canes is more tangy and Dave's sweeter. I like both sauces. What can I say? I'm a dipper. All in all it was a quality lunch.

It should be pretty easy; all laptops have access doors on the bottom side to get to the ram and drive locations.

Not as much as they used to. They're on the cost-cutting side now and have ditched the cutout doors, even with premium models. A gaming laptop I picked up last October - which wasn't cheap - requires complete removal of the bottom cover (same goes for my prior gaming laptop from 2021). The 2 premium business laptops I was issued 2 years ago at work are the same, and they also ditched the old school docking station ports (which I sorely miss) in favor of USB-C docks.

But that said, still pretty easy to upgrade for the most part. The dozen or so that I upgraded for myself and others the last few years that didn't have dedicated access doors still have easy to access RAM and SSD slots. and the bottom covers are fairly easy to remove.

Big BBQ this Sunday for Father’s Day. I’ll be grilling the usual hot dogs & hamburgers but just picked up some deutschland sausages from a local German deli in the area. Also got half a dozen regular brats as well.
