Yeah definitely not in the house. But I'd even prefer less messy means outside either way.

Growing up my folks' house was right next to an un-managed field, critters everywhere. A mouse got in the house, and I remember my dad had a bout with it when the mouse managed to get itself caught on the back slider track. So he closed it fast and you could hear the "crunch".

Me and my siblings immediately after...

Fortunately I was too little to be involved in cleanup.

Listening to a live show from Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories. This was last year when they reformed to play some shows in celebration of the upcoming 30th anniversary of their debut release of Tails (their only release as a band). They played in Atlanta and I could've gone. I am really remiss about that. Tails is one of the greatest albums of all time and one of the best of the 90's. Lisa Loeb & Nine stories are one of the most underrated bands. They only lasted one album. Lisa's next album, Firecracker, was really good. But Tails is better. She hasn't been quite as good since the 90's. I really do hope they do something with the 30th anniversary of Tails this year. Tails needs a proper re-release as well as a release on vinyl that doesn't give you such sticker shock you shit bricks right there.

When he's on the glue trap is when you're supposed to do the little shit in. It doesn't matter what time of the day or night it is. It is our civic duty to do to mice what God won't.

WEDNESDAY:

Dude...I can't believe it's Thursday already tomorrow!!!

I feel like a broken record posting that every 5 minutes.

I've been on an Ana De Armas kick lately, so I ordered Knives out, Bladerunner 20something and No Time To Die for Prime Day.

Catch you guys later!

Bought me a brand new git-fiddle last night, so I'm about to play it for the very first time.

I first read this as you bought a new griddle like a Blackstone. I was like sweet, what are we cooking up tonight? Now I see it's something else entirely. Carry on.

I am too (born and raised), but even I don't have a fiddle. When it comes to music I want to raise the roof, not raise the dead. And if try to play a fiddle, I'd wake up Jimmy Hoffa himself.

Been on conference calls all morning and just getting around to brewing some iced coffee before my next and last call for the day. But still 6 more hours to go...

I was a fan back in the 90s and still listen today. I recall one of their songs got me through a rough relationship break up way back then.

I think there is a song about something like that. I thought it was Alabama instead of Georgia, though. I also think it's requested at every concert EVER.

Two more hours for me. But it doesn't matter. I've got to do it all over again tomorrow. And even still, I've got about 2 and a half days to get through. Me and one of my best friends are going to see Superman Sunday at the Dolby Cinema. I cannot wait. Tickets have been bought. We're going to eat at Chili's afterwards. I hardly get to see him in person and I'm excited. But oh my f---ing f--k. I just remembered that I'm supposed to go see heat with my other friend on Sunday as well. There is a 7 pm showing of Heat which may work. I just have to talk to my friend. Not to mention the fact that I've got to run over to Grimey's to pick up something on hold. Never been this busy in years it seems like. Stretching myself thin but I wouldn't have it any other way.

They are so, SO good. I got fully on board with them in the summer of 1996 after the release of their third single Waiting For Wednesday. I already had their second single Taffy. But I didn't get the album proper until the summer. That coincided with the release of the Twister soundtrack and their song on there called How. I played out that group that summer. Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories were the summer ham for me. Thank god Geffen didn't piss all over them. Three singles from that album. Three ACTUAL singles on cassette being sold in the US. Geffen was notorious for treating a lot of their artists worse than Barnum and Bailey treated the animals in their circus.

Flopped at first, but now more accepted. it would not surprise me if we see a 4K release at some point.

Been out most of the day and now back home and looking forward to my second ride with my new riding buddy tonight. She's a newer rider than I was so we're going to take it easy and not venture out too far I don't think but hopefully we'll still have us a little adventure.
