Just one more day of work today before I take a week off. Really hoping to start fishing again as I've been putting it off multiple years due to numerous setbacks and a lot of overtime for work. Other than that though, I'm going to catch Superman in theatres more than likely and get through my reading list. It'll be nice to let my mind rest and recuperate.

It's muggy AF outside right now, I just finished mowing half of my parents' yard, I'm nursing a Coors Banquet before I hit the shower and get ready for work tonight. Since I technically have a couple hours, I may run down to the local Target for a new Brita water filter and a refill kit for my Thermacell, assuming they have it and I don't have to go to Walmart but I guess I do there's a store conveniently located directly across the street.

Just got back home late last night after being away on vacation

Just got home about 20 minutes ago from our longest ride yet. Been up since about 9:24pm last night and it's now 7:14pm and I have work at 10pm. So far, I haven't gotten any sleep but hope to get a least an hour or two. Luckily it's my Friday.

Pescadero and Half Moon Bay were the destinations today but we ended up going up to Pacifica which is like 20 minutes or so South of SF and on the coast along Highway 1. They have a Taco Bell Cantina right on the beach that I've mentioned before. They now have an actual bar area inside besides just the regular counter. It's not like a normal bar of course but the cantinas do serve alcoholic beverages. Being it was a Sunday, it was PACKED and there were a lot of people out on the beach as well.

While we were there in Pacifica, I asked my buddy what he thought about riding up 1 further to SF. He was game so we putted up there and hit some traffic and did some lane splitting and had a good time. We weren't there for very long and we didn't see much as I have work tonight but I still love my city by the bay.

Anyway, will post a few pics tomorrow and hope that once 6:30am hits and my weekend begins, I don't just come home and sleep my first day off away

I've been working overnights for so long that I'm not used to getting up this early, but there's a scheduled network update for tonight so they asked us overnights to come in early to get everything knocked out before 3PM. I'm sure it'll be an unorganized shit show but it is what it is, I guess.

Well SF was carried away by the squirrels under the orders of their queen. He's now being held ransom. I told them we flat out refuse. We DO NOT negotiate with squirrels. Other than that, it's been pretty quiet.
