Got home from work about an hour ago, just drank 2 beers and am watching a couple YouTube videos, but now I'm gonna try to get some sleep since I have to get up early to find some place to take my truck for a state inspection this morning, my go-to shop up here is booked up for the next 2 months.

I just got home from work and I'm going to sit here for a moment or two and decide if I want to go for a mountain bike ride (mostly if not all on pavement) or just get in the shower and relax. Today should be a no-spend day but I may go real cheap at Costco or I may get Mountain Mike's pizza buffet again for lunch. My credit card balance tells me that I shouldn't eat out at all but I don't think I'm going to listen

Counting down the hours and minutes to leave work... ready for the weekend, even if I never do much aside from drive.

Getting ready to run some errands. My Real ID was expected to arrive yesterday but I never received any mail, I was hoping it was a simple Informed Delivery glitch or a sorting mishap and it would be on today's route but it was not so I now have to stop at the local post office.

Otherwise I guess I just need to find some place I can pull into and get my truck inspected. Easier said than done I'm sure, especially on a Friday afternoon but there's a couple quick lube/tire places around here that are inspection stations so I'm going to try to be optimistic about it.

A shower is needed here as well, was at a concert last night, it was 9 PM and dark and I was dripping with sweat, woof. Gotta love Georgia summers.

I was down in AC for a few days and stayed at the Borgata. I tend not to stay there as it’s not on the boardwalk but they’ve got the best pools and I stayed for free using points. It was a nice time with great weather.

I did make it to the beach!




Stopped at Tropicana for lunch and had a Guinness Patty melt & crab fries from Chickie & Pete’s

Looks like you had the place to yourself. Or did you pull a Bezos and book they entire hotel? The sf doesn't f'ck around. That patty melt looks good.

Not the hotel, just the floor.
I took most of the photos in the early morning before it got too busy. While it’s not always possible in this day and age with Instagram, Snapchat and those annoying vloggers at Disney World, I try to be respectful of people’s privacy.

The melt was decent and quite hearty (I took half back), but the waiter didn’t ask me how I wanted it. I like my burgers medium! I still tipped him 20% but he was a bum and was very slow.

Haha... AC. I was there with my family two years ago, and we stayed at the Tropicana. It's amazing that the city and boardwalk after all of these years are still so run-down. And it doesn't help there's so much foreign investment/ownership who then do nothing to reinvest.

Well I won't get to experience any of those this year but I will get to experience some Georgian autumn days I'm not sure yet but I'm thinking I'll be back there September 29th until October 14th or 15th.
