Drinking coffee and trying to wake up before my appointment this morning. Waking up this early while working night shift is crazy but sometimes we've gotta do crazy things in life, right?

Polishing off lunch and a Pepsi. Will probably listen to the new Patty Griffin CD again. Not quite as good as her earlier works, but it does the trick.

Were those some Schweddy Balls perhaps? Those Schweddy Balls sure are the freshest and moistest things you've ever put in your mouth.

At IHOP where I had breakfast and now about to head home. I might get the bike and head up to Costco when I get home. I go back to work tonight which is a drag but really, the work week goes by pretty quickly so Mondays aren't really too bad.
Had a good trip up to SF yesterday. I didn't spend a lot of time in the city but I'll get back there before too long. I haven't posted many pics from our City By The Bay so I'll throw a few up in multiple posts. Here are the first few from the ride up there.

Not sure if I've ever mentioned it, but you may wanna try waiting a full hour in the morning from the time you get out of bed until your first hit of caffeine. When you first wake up, your cortisol levels are high. Waiting the full hour for them to come back down to normal makes the caffeine hit that much better.

WEDNESDAY:

I'm psyched for the NXT replay tonight.

I saw Thunderbolts* last night and it was great with my new subwoofer but just an ok movie.

The sub has really brought back my movie collection in a big way.

Have a good evening everybody.

If you can take your eyes off the view of the Pacific Ocean, they have a few TVs inside as well. I had made an unexpected stop in Half Moon Bay for a Whopper at BK so I just got the soda at Taco Bell because I knew that I also be eating in SF.
I'll wait for a few more posts and then post the next batch of pics

I did not know that. I do that everyday, just about, anyway. The only time I do drink caffeine first thing in the morning is when I am taking medicine. I only do that if I don't have anything else to drink. I can't do water. It's hard enough to swallow* as it is with Hawaiian Punch or soda.

*If you say something smart, I'll slap you silly.

Did you know that was they were originally going to call Taco Bell? They decided against Demolition Man in the end. They thought it might turn people away if they knew what Taco Bell does to your innards. Demolition Man is a very apt name though.

Will be taking the cat to the vet in a bit. Somehow she hurt her leg overnight or early this morning. It's an uphill battle I tell ya. Was lucky someone canceled and they had an appointment available. Looks like the Taco Bell dollar menu today.

Unfortunately, they still serve the same laxatives masquerading as food as does any Taco Hell. The scenic location of this one is just lipstick on a pig.

California has so many truly excellent places for Mexican food that there is just no good reason to settle for Taco Smell- unless you're broke, constipated, or both.

It's like visiting New York City or Chicago, both famous for their pizza, and ordering Pizza Slut.

Pre-gaming before I head out for a guy's night out at the local beer/wing place with some neighbors or shall I say the Senior Citizens night out as I'm the youngest guy in the group of four at almost 52 years old. J/K, I enjoy these old jokers, they make me larf.

I used to go out with the maintenance staff for wings when I worked at a resort. Good times and I was the youngest guy. Wings were cheaper back then…a lot cheaper.

Yankees had a longgg rain delay but play resumed and I’m watching the end of it.
