Signed back up with NFL Sunday Ticket and also added YouTube TV, and dropped DirecTV Stream after they decided to up my bill to $195/mo, which comes out more than the YTTV package. Good riddance. And now just have to go sign up SportsNet LA on MLB.com.

Happy to have multi-view + Redzone back. Balance has been restored with the Force.

Jeez!!!!! It'd be cheaper just to get cable. No one is saving money with these streaming packages. Not when you "GOTTA" have them all.

At least The Bills play every year. Imagine being a New Bohemians fan. The band put two albums out from 1988-1990. Then nothing for 16 years. At least nothing that is easily attainable*. Then it was another 12 years before they put another one out. And don't get me started on their shows. They first played here in town in 1989 (I didn't catch them then). The next time they played in town was 30 years later in 2019. In between those times, I had to travel to L.A., Dallas, and New York to see them. You got it easy bub.

*They put out an internet only album. You could only get it off their website. it wasn't so easily attainable then and it isn't now. It's currently at $42.49 on Discogs.

It's DirecTV. Whether it's their streaming or cable service, after the introductory price is done it will eventually be priced at what cable pricing has been in my area, which is close to and over $200 depending on the plan, and that doesn't usually include streaming services like Netflix, AppleTV+, etc. (at least not that I've been offered in my area). That's what Spectrum cable was in my area for just a basic package without add-ons before I decided to jump ship some years ago.

Otherwise, last I checked, streaming TV packages (cable companies offering streaming exempted) generally tend to run $65-$85, and my understanding is they don't go upward of $200 after a year like the streaming alternatives from cable companies. Still way cheaper than cable, even after adding several streaming services.
